Only to trade rewards at the end screen on missions etc.
Got the vex already? Swap it with a team member at the rewards screen before orbit. Don't see how you could exploit that!?

See now that I could get behind. I hate getting dupes I know will be sharded while a team members wishes he had been so lucky to get his first one. Especially in VoG.

I agree with this completely. It isn't exploitable and gives people with poor luck a chance to get those hard to get items. Only reward items for that session can be traded though.
