The evil within? Not as good as I thought it would be... Good game, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't Bethesda's best work. For me it wasn't very scary except for a few brief moments and the rest of the time grinding for ammo or trying to off ten different shots perfectly for the part with fifty enemies and you only have 4 bullets. (Ex: the ch 14 invisible boss). My answer would have to be... Aliens isolation

Alien: Isolation. The terror in that game is just brilliant. The atmosphere, the music, the creature itself... it really feels like the movie's world. Plus, guns WILL NOT save you from the Alien.

The evil within is amazing and you should buy it first

I've got to say Alien Isolation. Spent like 10 mins hiding in a locker with my motion tracker cause I was too much of a wimp of the Alien. Pretty tense trying to avoid making loud noises and evading the unpredictable Alien to me.

4 RepliesAnd anyone who votes for alien has likely never played both...or either. Alien is lame. Run hide. Run hide. Radar hide. Radar hide. Lame. The evil within is the horror survival REVIVAL best one in the genre in YEARS have replayed it 4 times. Amazing.

1 ReplyI'd recommend The Evil Within to anyone who likes the early Resident Evil games. I've been playing it for a while, and it is fantastic. A really good mix of scares and action. Alien: Isolation is good too. I'd recommend it if you like really, really hard games, or love the Alien series in general.

Alien Isolation is more subtle with buildup, it has a better environment. Evil within is too direct, it doesn't have as much buildup
