I only agree with point 2.
Point 1 is selfish. PVE is the primary place to get top tier weapons. Strange coins for xur, raid gear... All pve. Pvp players don't get that.
Point 3 is misguided. All damage is normalized, so when you say "put 2 bullets in my kneecaps" I know you're lying. Clearly you're just bad at pvp.

Edited by Raishin: 12/16/2014 12:35:01 AMNot wanting to do pvp isn't selfish. How about I force you to drive a smart car only because you have to get from A to B. No way, you would rather an actual car. I don't like pvp, forcing someone to play pvp is actual inconsiderate. You don't like it, fine, dont do it, no problem. You want that gear, to bad, gotta do it anyway. I think you have missed the fact that I am pointing out that the commendation system itself is useless and flawed. I am bad at pvp, I'm lucky as hell to break a 1.0 kd. That's one of the reason I should not be forced into it. If damage was truly normalized, there would be absolutely no reason to use anything in pvp. everyone just gets one gun and goes at it. The numerical damage is normalized, things like Impact, Blast Radius, Reload, and other secondary stats are still very much in play. I have tested this. The fact is even if the both weapons are set at a numerical rating of 300 damage, I promise you the weapon with the bigger impact wins every time. Couple Impact with range and you are bound to do some fantastic damage. Shadow Price can easily put down a Suros Regime because the Impact is fantastic. Depending on how the weapon is perked, that Suros can win at range but only with a margin of one bullet. That one bullet is skill/luck. The new blue sniper rifle Known Horizon has one of the highest impacts of any sniper, at a topped out 294 this does more damage than Epitaph or any other purple sniper I have touched. Stats matter, and while skill can overcome stats. . .I don't have said skills.

There are rares with high impact and range. Level really has no bearing on pvp success. And you aren't picking up my point. Obviously you have a problem with pvp, but you don't get that you pve players have access to the majority of upper tier gear. Raid weapons an raid armor, top level, xur... List goes on. Sorry you can't get dead orbit pants, go get something better in your preferred environment. Pvp has no access to those pieces of gear. You have it good.

True, rares have owned exotics in pvp, no doubt. It's not a faction gear im going for but vanilla crucible. It's true that pve has the volume of gear but it is almost a mute point. You take pve gear into pvp and vice versa, gear is never mode only wear and nobody switches per mode. all the gear, regardless of origin, comes with you no matter the mode. I can buy jeans at walmart and not have a problem wearing them into target for example. Just because walmart has a larger selection should mean I have to jump through hoops just cuz I like targets style. It's all just a different store to me, except now I have to play a mode I don't like to get it from said 'store.' My drop rates are such trash that I don't have a single piece of Armor that I have not bought from a vendor, if things would drop, I would prolly bitch a lot less ;p The only reason I want these over the vanguard is that they have slightly better stats.
