[BUNGIE] Unable to access the Expansion content? Please check here for more details

We have received reports from players that are unable to access the Expansion content. We have provided some FAQ below, and will add more as needed. [b]I still receive an Expansion Required message, but I already own the Expansion content:[/b] Please ensure that the Expansion content is fully downloaded, as sometimes downloads are stuck in a queue and do not install automatically. We suggest that you restore your licenses to ensure that everything has downloaded properly. Please follow the link for more information on how to restore licenses on your console. http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181 If that does not resolve your issue, please restart your console and relaunch Destiny. [b]I purchased the Expansion from a retailer and when I entered the code it didn’t unlock the Expansion content:[/b] Some retailers will credit your XBL or PSN account with a dollar value rather than unlocking the Expansion content. Please check your PSN or XBL store and verify that you have either a) received the Expansion or b) received a credit to purchase the Expansion. If you have verified that you have received credit in the amount of the Expansion, simply purchase the Expansion and begin your download.   • Hey! Why don't you fix the issue with people not being able to download the patch first. Your customer service is garbage. I think I'm going to cancel my Pre order and so are a lot of others. You can tell that you all don't give two shits about your player base.

  • I just purchased The Taken King Collectors Edition from the in-game solar system menu, and when I click to install now, it links me to a black screen that says manage in the top left. I play on an Xbox One.

I tried to look for many websites to help me get my dark below and house wolves but there weren't any, so I contact you because you're the only person I could contact. Pls If you can help me get my expansion before the ttk I would appreciate it alot I have saved money to buy the digital collection edition.

      • Hey BNGHelp2, I've owned the dark below dlc since its launch. Ive played destiny virtually every day since I downloaded Vanilla before the dark below dropped . I have house of wolves and everything is great with this game. Last night I was able to access all Dark Below content and was raiding crota. Today when I logged in, it was suddenly telling me that I no longer had the dark blow purchased. I restored my licenses and rebooted my PS4 several times. No matter what I do it wont let me play dark below content anymore. Help?

      • I'm on an XBox One, and I've had the expansion pass since release. I've been able to play the expansion content just fine until recently...now it won't recognize that I have it purchased. The expansion pass is still installed on my Xbox, but if I click on it to play it it just sends me straight to the store to buy it again. I've restarted and reset the Xbox, uninstalled and reinstalled game...but had to have a friend log in on the console to reinstall the expansion, as it refuses to recognize that I have it purchased to restore the license. I can log on to my account on my friend's Xbox One and it recognizes right away that I have the expansion, and gives me no issue playing. He can log on to his account on my Xbox and it recognizes that he has the expansion, and gives no issue. I log in on my own Xbox, and it says I don't have the expansion... I tried restoring the license for the expansion on my friend's xbox, and then logging back in on mine...nothing. It will only recognize that I have the expansion if he logs in on my xbox while I'm signed in and restores the license. This only lasts until I return to the home menu, at which point it revokes my access again. I still have the receipt from my purchase of the expansion, and I've been able to play it fine up until two days ago... Please help.

          • I purchased the dark below doc and when I try to download it, it goes from 1 to 0 and then says can't download expansion 1. I have over 50 gb left and ok internet connection. Why isn't it downloading Bungie help!

              • What about Japan, I have just moved here from Australia where I already had errors of all sorts of zoo animals. Now I'm just getting bee error over and over and over. My internet is 30mb down and I'm on open NAT....

                • I ran into trouble accessing my content that Xbox support helped me solve. I purchased a pass from a retailer that credited my account. I downloaded expansion one and was able to access it. Later I purchased a different game on the Xbox marketplace and lost access to The Dark Below. This occurred because when I purchased the new game, the market place used the credited money from the pass and removed The Dark Below. I don't think many others run into this problem anymore because both expansions are released. But this was very perplexing to me and perhaps it will help someone else.

                • And it still occurs today, this is an outrage Bungie it really isn't what I expect from a developer with such a backround. I hope you fix this someday for the fans that still love you guys, but I'm out. Not only wasted 60 Euros for the game itself, now also 20 bucks for an expansion that I never received.

                    It should be resolved? Im on my Xbox 360 right now and it STILL wont let me download the Expansion 1: Dark Below after i have already paid for it. Is it going to be fixed or NOT???

                      • Restoring the licenses did not work nor did restarting my PS4. I have had the expansions since they came out and now all of a sudden it is telling me that I need to buy them again? Is there a place that I can just redownload them? What would have caused this? This has only started since the work that you guys did last night.

                      • Today I signed onto destiny and it's telling me I don't have Xbox live and the expansion to play anything I bought a year xbox gold membership and also a expansion pass for both DLCs what's going on I tried restarting the xbox do I really have to redownload everything?

                        • Hi Bungie, I had originally bought a US version of the game for a UK ps4 account and only encountered problems when the dark below came out. Now I have got a UK version of the game and have been able to play the DLC fine except for crotas end raid. It keeps saying "wrong disk inserted" when I try to to join a session for a fireteam for this raid but if I can access the raid when going manually on my own. I don't have this problem with vault of glass either. Do you have any advice on getting around this? Thanks, Davj218.

                          • Bungie I bought the expansion pass on ps4 for destiny and it said I can play it on ps4 and ps3. I tried to play the DLCs with my friends on ps3 and it said I have to buy it again. Please fix this. Psn: spartanfool243.

                              My brother deleted all of our destiny content to play Gta 5 and when I re downloaded all the compatibility packs and stuff, it said I don't have the content required to play. I have the expansion pass, vanguard armory, digital content pack, destiny content pack 1 and 2, and compatibility packs 1-4 but I still can't play. Help?
