[BUNGIE] Unable to access the Expansion content? Please check here for more details

We have received reports from players that are unable to access the Expansion content. We have provided some FAQ below, and will add more as needed. [b]I still receive an Expansion Required message, but I already own the Expansion content:[/b] Please ensure that the Expansion content is fully downloaded, as sometimes downloads are stuck in a queue and do not install automatically. We suggest that you restore your licenses to ensure that everything has downloaded properly. Please follow the link for more information on how to restore licenses on your console. http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181 If that does not resolve your issue, please restart your console and relaunch Destiny. [b]I purchased the Expansion from a retailer and when I entered the code it didn’t unlock the Expansion content:[/b] Some retailers will credit your XBL or PSN account with a dollar value rather than unlocking the Expansion content. Please check your PSN or XBL store and verify that you have either a) received the Expansion or b) received a credit to purchase the Expansion. If you have verified that you have received credit in the amount of the Expansion, simply purchase the Expansion and begin your download.         • UPDATE: For those who had issues regarding not having access to the first 2 expansions, IT IS NOW FIXED. I received codes which unlocked the mentioned DLCs. thank you Bungie.

          • ISSUE: Bought legendary edition. Region 3. My psn account is r3 (hk). My ps4 is r3. I CAN'T ACCESS CROTA AND HOW DLC. I can access TTK content however. I have tried to delete destiny and reinstall. Still won't appear in the add on list. This problem is on your side Bungie. Please acknolwedge it and give us a fix. We paid $60. We expected a game with 3 DLCs and not just one.

            • Neither of these problems applied to me! My problem is i cant actually buy the digital download of the taken king and anyone knows how to fix this just help me. Bungie help me give you my money!

                • As of this time, expansions and the season pass are back on the xbox store for the xbox one at least. Hopefully installing it will make everything work, haha.

                • I bought the TTK DLC on Xbox one and I played a good bit on the Xbox one but when I went to help a friend on Xbox 360 it said I didn't own the DLC even though I had all DLC items equipped, I assumed it would carry over to the Xbox 360 since all the other DLC had and all my characters, guns, armor etc. carry over also, does this mean that I just can't play the DLC with my friends on 360 now?

                  • Can't access expansions. A Kell Rising is locked. Expansions aren't installed, however, because it's no longer on Xbox One store. I only have Destiny and The Taken King under the game management section, and I KNOW I purchased the Digital Guardian Edition previously which included the Season Pass for both expansions.

                  • On Aug 22/15 we purchased the compatibility packs 1-3, the expansion pass, the vanguard armory pre order, the collectors edition and the Taken King Legendary edition full game. We downloaded all of the above and all work except for the Taken King. We went to the symbol in the game for the Taken King and it asks us to purchase it (again) or to enter a redemption code. There was never a code that came with the purchase. We contacted the PSN and they said that it is not showing as being part of our system, even though we can see it on our downloads in the PSN store and in our account management. They advised me to contact you. I have followed your instructions above for re-downloading it and restarted the system and game. Still nothing. We are wondering if you could provide any assistance or help to fix or solve this issue. Thank you.

                  • I was forced to factory reset my Xbox One due to a glitch and after installing all of the taken king content I can't play any of it. when I try to enter the code I got with my legendary edition it says "code has already been used" and acts as if I don't have the content. I have proof of purchase and all of the included codes if this helps

                    • Hello, I am on Xbox 360, I purchased TTK and it shows in my purchase history. I am unable to play any content, so I go to my download history to see there is one download that says 'content is unavailable'. I have contacted Microsoft and they said to talk to the developer about this issue, aka you Bunige. I have no idea what is going wrong, I have cleared my cache, downloaded the patches, tried transferring licenses, but all to no avail. Please help.

                      • Yesterday on September 16, 2015 I signed on to destiny to play The Taken King with some friends. I played for about an hour got my new subclass, dance emote, and a ghost shell called the "Brave Shell" but then I was told about all the changes to the way the original naritive was layed out. Already having three characters I deleted my Warlock which was in the first character slot (if that even matters) but not before I moved ALL my important gear and items to my vault and other characters. To my surprise when I finished the tutorial and went to retrieve my things from the vault my "Brave Shell" and "Circle Glide" dance emote were not there. Was it some how linked to the character? And is there a way to get them both back?

                      • PSN+ Malaysia player here. Same issue - Bought physcial copy of TTK Legendary. Can access TTK cinematic and it shows in the addons but HoW and Dark Below expansion are not included in the addons. In game also verified content is not available for my access. Game DVD and player all same region (R3). Only 3 codes provided in the box, SUROS weapon pack, TTK weapon pack and TTK+Exp1+Exp2 codes. Have tried restored license. Called Sony and they mentioned that I do have the game license but it has something to do with the publisher. Please rectify this issue.

                        • Purchased expansion. Did NOT get court of oryx quest after acquiring blade. And the taken war blighted worlds step will not work. Says to talk to cayde etc. There is a triangle above the tower but will not activate. This is my second or third time reaching out to bungie with no response. There was also no mention of this issue on the weekly update. I know for a fact I'm not the only one with this issue. I understand not wanting to spoil the plot or secret steps. But a heads up like "hey try this" would be appreciated. Dedicated year one players shouldn't be left hanging.

                        • Hi Bungie, Saw your new article about the "known issues" and i have to say that it sucks that this particular issue with TTK LE is not included. I hope were not being left outsife the shed. PS4 user here, i believe some xbox and ps3 users are havong the same issues too. An update would be nice.

                            So, my experiment to delete and re-download the entire game and all patches and add-ons has failed (a full 17+ hours of downloading). Back to square one. To clarify, I have, AGAIN, done the following: - checked all available add-ons - they are showing up as installed, incl TTK - restored all licenses - cleared cache - not a "region" issue - deleted the whole game, then downloaded all game files, app data, and updates, and just this morning logged in to the same thing, no differences My welcome screen when I start the game IS the TTK screen. If I try and navigate to any TTK content, I get the "Requires Taken King" - which, upon click, brings me to the pop-up to Enter Code, or Purchase one of two offers. as well as watch the trailer. Not sure what to try next. IS this a lost cause, Bungie? Is it chase-a-refund and go the COD route for my gaming? I am not going to play the crippled content you've left behind after launching TTK. Or is there some idea of what this is, some fix, some HELP from you guys coming? I won't wait weeks. I've already waited days, and I'm not sure how many more you're going to get from me. Additional EDITS: FYI - Destiny Collector's Edition Digital Content Pack ($60) is what I purchased the first week in August - on PS4 - acquired preorder from Gamestop. This does show up as bought and paid in my PSN account. I was playing all other add-ons (HoW, DB, last week's pr-TTK) and rec'd the ship, banner updates, etc. with no issues from my Content Pack purchase. So I know it worked, no questions my initial purchase was completed.
