Kinda sounds like any mmo I have played in the past. At the beginning of level cap or an expansion, you grind out faction rep and buy their gear to get you into the raid. Decent idea but I think a little too extreme for the casual gamer, which is all that bungie and most franchises care about now-a-days.

See that's not what I think the factions should be about, it's not for the casual gamer. It's not for anyone. Just for the ones who show determination, loyalty, and skill. It's supposed to be a challenge. And if anything just play normally like many do without factions. I just think I would make that certain gear for the factions more rare and more special to own.

Yea. I would even settle for slightly higher stats and/or better perks.

I just think it would be pretty cool to be in a sorta "exclusive" group( well maybe just more exclusive) to show that I know what I'm doing and that im trying even harder to get gear and exotics only for that faction. The whole idea is for it to be difficult but with exclusive level 30 and exotic/legendary gear so that not every person in the game will have the same stuff like it is now. Kinda takes away the randomness for some stuff. Plus I think you would get a lot more respect from leveling up the factions and becoming 30 that way and using thanks exotics that are way more rare. Idk just my opinion.
