IF THEY IMPLEMENT GEAR TRADING THERE WOULD BE NO POINT. HOWEVER I DO AGEE WITH MAYBE A MATERIAL TRADING SYSTEM OR SHIPS OR EMBLEMS YOU KNOW STUFF OF THAT NATURE. JUST NOT GEAR FOR THAT WOULD TAKE THE CHALLANGE OUT OF THE GAME. I MEAN THINK ABOUT IT, IF YOU BUSTED YOUR ASS TO GET TO LEVEL 30 AND THEN AS SOON AS SOME NOOB REACHES LVL 20 HES HANDED GEAR AND BOOSTED UP TO 30 IN AN INSTANT...IF THAT SHIT HAPPENS BUNGIE WILL LOSE A LOT OF ITS PLAYERS.

Lol I was on my laptop and had already typed most of it before I realized and was too lazy to retype lol

I would like to see something like this as well. Kind of like how wow does it if you equip and use the piece of gear it becomes soul bound and thus can not be traded.

I like this idea.

Edited by Rev, The Kell of Glizzies: 12/4/2014 9:08:06 AMAlright, armor does not instantly boost you to lvl 30. You know that. We know that. A trading system would be a great tool to have for all items in game. How so? Say you get an exotic bounty where you have to break down 10 rare/legendary fusion rifles. It will take ages to acquire these fusion rifles. So instead of taking forever and trying to find them, a trading system would greatly reduce the time to finish this bounty. Why would I come up with this scenario? My friend has the bounty. Also, say you don't have enough Vanguard/Crucible marks to get weapons/armor but you have a friend who has double the weapon/armor that you want. Simply ask your friend for the weaker/same variant and go on with your day happy as ever. Also, what if your friend has a ghost case that he/she has double of? Just ask him/her for that and you can trade. A trading system would be brilliant. You will be able to get what ever you want but a specific trading area inside the Tower would be grand.

So you're saying it would be fair for you to get all the raid gear, and then one of you buddies has a friend just starting out and it just so happens he has 2 complete sets and gives them away to the new player, he would atleast instantly get to 26-27 and then it would take no time at all to hit 30 and he's just started playing the game, that's pretty unfair.
