You can't upgrade to a raid primary until January. You can still get 320 vanguard guns, w/o elemental damage.
I don't think Bungie expected people to try and get every exotic in the game, just ones they really wanted to use regularly.
The bank space in WoW was quite limited for a long time, unless you had a lot of gold and extra bags in vanilla.
Yes, there was some development done for everything in the season pass. Those maps/zones/areas what have you are there, but they are empty save some placeholder mobs in King's watch.
Vanilla WoW was full of partially completed areas that didn't appear in the game until much later. ZG, AQ, Caverns of Time and others. I explored like crazy and found lots of random places that weren't open yet as well as a few Easter eggs.
Regardless. What I asked is what you wanted instead of a new raid tier? Mini games, gambling, sparrow racing and a bunch of other random filler content?
Or did you want to be like Blizzard and keep adding new same-tier sub-raid content (like Dire Maul) for 6 months before the next raid? Well, in vanilla anyway.
I honestly don't think it was hard enough to get to 20 and it wasn't hard enough to get gear. People were showered with so much gear, no one was ever 20, they immediately popped to light level 21-23 on their first toon. Then strike playlists showered them with more blues. Then a raid opened up that was relatively easy and full of exploits that got quite a few people to 30 in the first couple weeks.
Bungie threw us too much and didn't make people work for anything but upgrades. I think that was their mistake. There should have been no non-raid legendaries and comics should have been more difficult, like the thorn bounty.
Either or, you said you were done talking to me. But I don't think Destiny is perfect and I don't think they did a lot of things right, but I'm glad their moving on from the mess that was 1.0.X.
I hope for a lot of things in the future, but I'm not expecting much before the "comet" DLC.
