I am sorry, I have sat back and supported a lot of Bungie's decisions until this point but essentially telling us that all the work we did to up grade our gear will be getting a wipe just to keep it relevant is absolute bullsh*t...
It's bad enough that they've made resource mats that are being crammed down our throats in massive quantities less useful, but now they want to tell us that in order to max out our already maxed out weapons that we've worked hard to level up we need to hope that Xur randomly has an upgrade for them once a week, drop a small fortune in strange coins, and wipe all of our progress?!
Thanks... I am so glad you are keeping our equipment selectively useful and discrediting over several dozen hours of work. I feel incredibly appreciated for all the support I've given you.
There's one week before the Dark Below drops, please take a moment and realize just what you are doing; just how many of the players you have left do you actually think will spend countless hours regrinding to relevel our equipment? I am not quite sure it will be the number you think it will. People are already growing more and more frustrated with this game and now you expect them to be ok with waiting what could be weeks or even months for a once a week vendor to offer them an upgrade for their favorite weapon just so they can spend hours maxing it out again?
Let me guess weapons like Ice Breaker and Gjallarhorn won't be seeing upgrades any time soon will they...
