Someone randomly invited me to my first raid tonight and I joined in, expecting something like a mission... I really had no clue what was going on. Aside from me, there was only one other guy on the mic and he also had no clue... it didn't go well.
What I experienced was just the part where you attack the Templar. Obviously I did not run and take the shield; instead I just ran around killing Happy's and minotaurs and striking the Templar when I could. I had no clue what to do. What am I supposed to do? Just do what I did, plus killing those glowing light orbs (I am guessing that is what the walkthrough suggested were oracles)?
Do most teams have everyone on the microphone and communicating instructions? Because No one was on the mic to even explain what was happening to me. Worst of all, I am new to gaming in general... this was my first time using a mic, since they did not have that stuff on my Sega Genesis.
Other tips?
Also, we had to go back to the tower after a couple people quit. Can anyone on the team do an invite, or just the leader?

3 Replies1. Everyone in the raid should be have working mics 2. There should be at least 1 person leading the raid(Unless everyone knows what their roles are) 3. You should watch a video or read a guide Most people say the raid is easy only because others have already figured out what to do, where to go, and how to do it. There's a reason why you need to manually create a fireteam instead of just joining one like for Strikes.

1 ReplyXbox One? If so I'll do it with you. 3 level 30's so I might know a thing or two. :) No I don't have any iron banner gear because I always got bee on the second half of the match after carrying my team the first half

It's possible the others were in a party chat, not game chat

4 RepliesGoogle a raid video and watch it at least once. There are many out there, but you'll get the gist of it. If you're on ps4 you can raid with us later in the week and you can get some practice in. NesserVanNessers
