Coz people always want what they haven't got! :)
-
Ironic, isn't it?
-
This is why people who see someone that is happy automatically assumes said person is dumb. Or of lower class. This happy person must be oblivious to all that is wrong with their situation.
-
Are you applying this isn't true? Of course it is.

Edited by aceebro: 12/2/2014 2:11:58 AMBecause intelligence doesnt cause unhapiness in the case of this poll.

Because the flood is smart
-
You would rather be unhappy and smart than be happy?
-
The thread never said that if you were smart you would be unhappy...
-
You would have no emotions whatsoever other than empathy. You would be completely neutral but non-psychopathic.
-
Yes. Happiness is relative. Intelligence is not
-
Yes it is! relative to a dog I'm intelligent relative to Steven hawking not so much! :)
-
It can be quantified. Happiness on the other hand is personal
-
As is intelligence iq tests only tell you so much! for instance highly intelligent people often barely function in the real world as mind is preoccupied yet they're considered smart then a receptionist who has 100's of phone numbers memorised & organises said intelligent persons day wouldn't be considered smart by most as their job isn't thought to be so! Humans are roughly of equal intelligence just where their interests lie determines wether they're considered smart the more obscure generally the smarter you're considered
-
No. An IQ test is not the only test to take. Taking an aggregate standing of the availible scores would give a fairly accurate measure
-
You are correct it would give a reasonable indication! However I didn't say iq test was only way I said they're not perfect indicators of intelligence for instance as a young teen was tested & got 147 but I'm not much smarter than most people
-
Yeah everyone knows an IQ test by itself is not all telling
