Only about 5% of the player base has beat the raid on hard. That tells me 95% of people who own Destiny would prefer a fresh start. Those of us who have reached the end game love the idea of just expanding it. We are the few though, sadly. From a business perspective, Destiny 2 will need to be a stand alone product that has a completely level and even playing field on day 1.

i was surprised at the trophy stats, considering it is accurate. even the normal VoG, you are a minority.
-
Where do u see these stats?
-
another thing u have to consider is I beliebe stringly the people who post on forums alot are a huge minority to the actualy player base. so if people here have mostly cleared VoG, it is an insignificant amount vs. actualy player base.

I assume its quite accuratr assuming that the gane is always online. One way you can check is from trophies. trophies show the percentile you are in per trophy. Also there are trophies specifically for clearing VoG on normal, hard, and flawless raider. of course this is not the best way to tell these things but considering you get a trophy for clearing the vault and it registers it online and PSN uses that data to compare u with millions of destiny players....if this system worked without mistakes then yes, you can get a general idea of how many people cleared the vault from beg to end.

Seriously? Wow I thought tons have beaten it so I'm very happy I'm that 5%. It may be a ton of people (like thousands) but that's because millions play destiny

Just looked says 6.5% u guys have the same for psn?
