Now despite the mass of religious threads still smoking from flame wars, I would like to ask those religious people of the Flood a legitimate question:
Why are you religious?
In any religion, you have a deity, or several that created us. But why did he/she/they? Why would this being, this "all powerful" and "omnipotent" creature(s), permit us to live eighty years, if that, of torture?

It can be used to teach morals, and to teach 'life lessons.' It can be used literally, the way many people take it today, where a god did come to earth and set the Bible in motion. Or it can be used as hope. Hope for the future, for a place after death. For a place where all pain goes away, and no one gets hurt or leaves you. And all you have to do to get in to this place is believe. Renounce your 'sin' and believe. I choose to believe for hope. I want to see the family and friends I have lost, and I don't want to be forgotten.
