So personally I have my pros and cons with destiny when it comes to opinions especially the RNG loot system. But this is absolutely ridiculous, I just finished a game not too long ago in the Iron Banner scoring 32 kills , with 4 assists a K/Dr of 1.38 and overall game score of 6390 , my team also won , but i didn't receive a single thing.Usually i don't mind if the end game rewards don't give me much because I've ALWAYS obtained something , but this is just ridiculous, why not reward skilled players?
Bungie I personally think you should replace RNG completely with a skill/score based reward system for PvP.
lets get a petition going and show bungie how much we hate RNG

1 ReplyMaybe not such an absolute option could be available. I think if you look at the purpose we could still offer solution. The purpose besides random reward is what I assume to be replayability for a chance to be so lucky and of course to keep people coming back. Ok, cool, random rewards are awsome! However, the implementation seems off for a hybrid game. Most core players here are completionists at heart and want to collect everything. To this end, the random drop is like a preview while every else waits. Some suggestions: Raid armor should be awarded for each loot boss with helmet being hard raid finish is fair. Then guns can still be rng however, once one is acquired it should be removed from the roll. There you still have replayability yet you get rewarded for time put in. It's just a ruined experience coming out empty handed or with dupes. Crusible: 9/10 the bottom player gets the best drop.(I've been one too, an exotic I already had btw). There should be a way to get high performing players a higher roll chance. I'm not good but when I finish as a top player there is nothing more disappointing the seeing the former transpire. Nightfall and strikes- I don't really know what to suggest since these arn't difficult to finish but maybe again having duplicate chances removed.
