I vote with my money. I never liked Halo and I never appreciated Bungie as a developer. Destiny represented, for me, a chance to give Bungie the opportunity to impress me as a customer.
After buying the deluxe digital edition and having gotten a character to Lv27, the only good thing I can say is that I'm going to wait and see how the DLC's do.
I'd be pleasantly surprised if I end up getting the next Destiny installment but I'm not expecting to have any reason to do so.

At least he didn't complain about how bad the game was and just said his opinion of it. Good job, props to you

People like you make me laugh. You have your hate on before you're out of the gate, then you play the game to high levels anyway and then complain again and then proceed to say you may try the DLC. It's like the path of someone with a brain disorder. You know what just move on. If you can't appreciate the world that Bungie has painstaking put together then play something else for the love of God. Personally I'm fine with traveling and fighting across the universe and being fortunate to have a developer behind me that is continuously maintaining their released product. Good luck finding the equivalent out there.

I'd be fine with the grind too, and in fact there are and were games I've played for days on end, sometimes years! What was common to all those games is that both their gameplay and immersion building factors hooked me in. In comparison, Destiny feels like a been-there-played-that game. So far, in 27 levels of both story and gameplay I've found nothing so exciting that would convince me to grind to 30 and PvP isn't my thing, hence I'll wait for the DLC I've already paid for, tyvm! 😏

Fair enough. I'm 50/50 PVE and PVP and play with a dedicated group of friends all the time so I suppose it's personal experience. I have one of each class of character 30, 29, 27 and it's all about completing challenges for myself. So I can see how PVE only or predominantly I may feel differently. Im extremely impressed with the graphics of the game the scope of the game the mechanics of the game but I will admit it's kind of missing a soul atm and could open up a thousand options. Bungie is right there with it I hope they do it. For example unlimited glimmer, an option to buy materials, a trading system where you can set up your own shop in the tower for a price, all shaders available for buying or making at your convenience, a story, npc's with a pulse etc... It would be such s shame to have all their work nothing more than a still born.
