Well the company is based in deep blue Washington state. Is anyone surprised that these progressive hacks would be social engineering their games? I'm not.

This is a facepalm inducing response.

Sorry for your face.

I'm sure their allegiance to a particular side of a corrupt, partisan system where both parties are more similar than they are different, has a lot to do with their patches. Lmao.

Progressive refers to their particular ideology not political affiliations. It is pervasive in their world view and as such is revealved in all their day to day activities, even patches.

As someone with no idea, what is this ideology you hate so much?

Well essentially it revolves around socialism. You won't hear to it called that these days because the word carries a negative connotation. You see it a lot in despots throughout history. You have to follow their way of doing things and only their way, without any variation (hence the cheese patches). Also they cloak their agenda in talk of "fairness". With this game, RNG. There is no skill involved in RNG. No rewards based on performance, just handed out at complete random, or as some have stated, seemingly, to the players that perform the least or AFK. Another term for this would be social justice, social welfare, or social/income redistribution. Progressives like to call it, "paying their fair share". There is no flexibility or allowance for innovation within this frame of mind. Not allowed to find interesting new ways to defeat bosses, even though they will say that's exactly what they want you to do. When you do, the response is, "Well, yes we want you to find new interesting ways, but only the ones that WE approve." That's my attempt to explain it within the context of this game. Maybe that helped, maybe it didn't.

I understand now, thanks. I think the real issue is that they say they want creativity, but there's actually no real way to be creative when: A) Numerous adds spawn simultaneously, each of which can 2-3 shot you (Nightfall). B) Boss takes several hundred shots to eliminate C) No natural cover mechanics, as adds both swarm and snipe D) Punishment for failure is a full restart (Nightfall) So... is it any wonder that people are striving to mitigate risk in an environment like this? The game is informing the players that they cannot afford to take any damage, at all, not that they need to be more creative. The players find places where they can limit the amount of damage they take, ofc. Bungie then informs the players that they haven't been playing as intended, and that they should be more creative with their play. The cycle continues. I still don't quite see it in the light you do. To me, it looks like Bungie doesn't understand their own game, more than it seems like a concerted effort to push a real agenda (other than maintaining profitability, I mean). Anyway, that was longer than I meant it to be, lol
