I don't really think bungie should be patching these things maybe some of the outrageous ones but should bungie be punishing us for using the environment to are advantage I mean come on.

Like I said to someone else, Destiny has created a new kind of gamer, those who think that using game exploits is their right. Something that the developer should allow them to do. Basically, anything in the game goes, and if they remove anything then they are terrible.
-
I don't think they are terrible I mean I give them props for trying to make the game good for everyone. I just felt like there was other things they could patched instead of this but hey if we could use the environment this well we can use the environment in some other form of way we are guardians masters of the environment.

Well yeah, I get what you mean, but I kind of take it the other way. If they are working on fixing small things like this, it means their attention to detail hasn't lowered. The fact that they simply put an invisible wall in place, rather than change the level geometry, means they wanted to address the issue, but didn't spend large amounts of time working on it. The fact they missed the second way to get in to that spot also shows this. They obviously wanted to stop people from getting in, but only had enough time to do a very basic band aid fix.

Edited by ravingdragoon: 11/17/2014 10:30:13 PMThe patch shouldn't be making an area inaccessible, it should be making the enemies able to access it.. Edit: Anywhere we can hide the enemy should eventually be able to find and shoot us.
-
Well, that would be the case if the enemy had the same capabilities as us. But we have the extra ability to jump far higher than they can. Servitors and shanks should be able to get in, or fly to high places.

My opinion is we should be able to use the environment to benefit is not via glitches but just by the general design of the game. Find a tactical advantage point and use it and don't die it's apart of destiny being able to master your environment
