Refunds have to be issued through the retailer you purchased the game from. In your case, you would have to call Microsoft

Edited by Charkleshaha: 11/17/2014 7:54:45 PMWell. They wouldn't give me a refund. They said I would have to get my bank to file a dispute. So I guess I'm stuck with a game thats basically a useless piece of shi*. I swear to God I'm never ever buying anything from Bungie again. FIX YOUR SHI*!

Delete the game. Call your bank/credit card company. Dispute the charge. They'll ask why you're disputing, explain it doesn't work. They'll ask if you've contacted the company, say yes and they refused a refund. You'll get your money back within10 business days.

I was unaware I could just call my Credit card company and stop payement on things I dont want. I always thought that was for if your card was stolen you can lock your card down.

Significantly not as described product/goods[/i] It's assumed when you purchase a game it will be playable.

Edited by Charkleshaha: 11/17/2014 6:14:46 PMI did. Microsoft told me to contact Activision and they sent me here.

Typical loop. But Bungie has nothing to do with the retail costs and value of their game. Activision is their publisher, so they only distribute it. Microsoft is the retailer, so you'll probably have to get aggressive with them

I remember somebody saying that Microsoft does not do refunds for digital purchases. Not 100% on this.
-
This is true. I don't know of any retailer who refunds on digital content. You'll be lucky if they refund for a physical disc. Usually for physical merchandise they will only allow an exchange for the exact same item, to help avoid piracy.

Edited by Paid2BetaTest: 11/17/2014 6:17:07 PMThey are lying to you. MC is the entity you bought it from you need to talk to them. A sort of anolgy. You purchase eggs from a store, walking to you car you notice one is broken. Do you A; Go back into the store and get an egg or B; Go to the farm the egg was made at and get an egg from the confused farmer?

Are you saying we should go throw eggs at a Microsoft building somewhere? 'cause I'm in!
