  • Let me put this in perspective for you... Alcohol: It's legal in every state after the age of 21. In every other country, the drinking age is 18. The side effects? Drunk driving. Violence. Loss of motor skills. Domestic violence (Wife/child abuse) and the occasional liver failure. Xanax: Prescription drug that can be abused. The common side effects of Xanax include drowsiness, headaches, fatigue, dizziness, difficulty concentrating, dry mouth, changes in sex drive, inability to perform sexually, increased salvation, weight changes, difficulty urinating and constipation. Vikadin: Prescription Opiate that can be abused. Symptoms include unusual moods (happy or sad), constipation, nausea, vomiting, dry throat, rash, difficulty urinating, inability to focus, difficulty concentrating, dizziness, anxiety and drowsiness. Now those are only 3 of the many many many legal drugs that can be abused, AND are more harmful to your body than Marijuana. So let's take a look at Marijuana: -Cures Glaucoma -Reduces the damage done to your lungs by Tobacco and Nicotine -Controls epileptic seizures -Stops cancer from spreading (certain strains) -Decreases anxiety -Slows progression of Alzheimer's -Eases the pain of multiple sclerosis -Reduces side effects of hepatitis C and increases treatment effectiveness -Treats inflammatory bowel diseases -Relieves arthritis pain -Helps stabilize metabolisms and keeps you slim -Helps stabilize lupus and auto immune disorders (like diabetes) -Spurs Creativity -Can possibly eliminate Crohns Disease -Soothes tremors for Parkinson's disease victims -Helps veterans cope with PTSD -Protects the brain after a stroke Need I write more? This is a drug, yes, but it's a beneficiary drug. Thanks for reading. I hope this enlightens you all.
