Holy -blam!- this game is not an MMO stop treating it like such. Not to mention healing would be completely useless in this game

  • How would it be useless even if it was a constant healing effect? You wouldn't have to wait for the red bar to fill up and become white again. Also, even the most basic of RPG's have a healing class you idiot not just MMO's. Maybe if you played more than shooters you would know that. Hell even Borderlands has had healing moves. Halo:Reach even had healing ability for christ's sake.

  • Yeah and it was useless in halo. Using borderlands is a poor example because it's a poor game and because of the fact that the bar does fill up so quickly it WOULD be useless. The games that have useful classes that heal such as final fantasy actually has a point. And if you're talking constant regen no matter if you're getting hit or not that would be much too broken especially in PvP

  • Wow dude you are just the most idiotic and ignorant person I know on this board. In both Halo 3 and Reach the healing abilities were extremely useful for the teams, just because your nub-cake ass can't utilize them properly doesn't meant they were bad. As for borderlands being a poor game, why does it sell so well, why do people praise it, and why do people continue to buy and support it.....because it is actually a good game.Saying it is a poor example because the super bar fill up is completely negligible, because guess what, in Destiny with a high enough intelligent stat you can do a super almost every two minutes which is about the same as if you didn't have any gear that went to your skill cool down in borderlands. If you don't like it that is your problem not anyone else, but please get your damn facts straight.

  • My facts are straight and that's like saying CoD is a good game using the "success" factor. You honestly haven't proven my valid points wrong instead you just "hit me over the head" because you have no real reason to believe that a healing class would have any use. Convince me

  • You have yet to prove to me how one would be useless. In all honesty there are time where being healed rapidly has saved me numerous times from wiping as a hunter. Using the Hungering blade skill with the super saved me from this. Even if it was just a quick burst heal the the suros regimes effect it would still be helpful and could potentially stop a team or yourself from wiping out. Like in most RPG's a healing class is only as good as they are enabled to be, they do rely on the skill of other players. If you are just rushing to your deaths over and over again there is not much they can really do, but if you get healed then move to a safe area to attack from or fully recover to return to battle again. Say for instances, say a subclasses super initially healed everyone on the fire team when activated and gave them a higher rate of healing over time? How would this not help? Even the regen field and regen bubble from the halo games helped with objectives and could give you an edge over the opponents. It is all about how things are utilized. If utilized poorly yes, it can be ineffective and somewhat worthless, but when utilize correctly it can drastically tip the scales in your favor.

  • I'm done with you. I already gave you a reason as to why it would be a bad idea and if they implemented healing in any way into this game it would be either utterly useless or incredibly broken. It does not belong in this game. End of discussion
