Solution: xb1 has external hard drive capability using usb 3.0 which allows you the user to install games straight to the external. Increasing storage indefinitely. All content is playable from the external. Ps4: has support for larger hard drive installation Xbox 360: memory module add additional memory that is playable from the module Ps3: has support for larger harddrive installation

If the X-Box One memory expansion via USB is anything like the 360, you can only save media content to it, not games. Otherwise, the larger and larger hard drives produced and sold by Microsoft specifically for the 360 would not have been necessary.

you can save games on usb with 360. not all but some

I have a 3.0 usb drive hooked up to my Xbone. You can anything you want via the xbox to it. The xbox has its own special formatting so you can't just remove it and store other PC stuff on the drive.

I'll have to see if that works for me. The 360 only allowed movies, music, and pictures, not games via a USB drive. I assumed, seeing as how X-Box One went backwards on some functions (no voice messages for instance) that it'd still be the same.

Actually if you format the USB on 360 to an Xbox memory unit through the dashboard you can use it to put games profiles and save data etc. on it. I still use an old 1gb USB stick to transfer between consoles like that
