Your comparisons don't even make sense.
Destiny was built from the ground up. It didn't officially enter Alpha stage until this year. You think that 3-4 months is enough time to finish content that was sitting there until they made the step to alpha stage?
Even if the content is mostly finished, it wouldn't have polished in time, and that's where Activision comes in...

The alpha was actually exactly the same as the beta the only reason there even was an alpha was so they could test the servers and then the beta was there to do a large scale test on them
-
They changed vendor inventory, game mechanics, texture resolution, and they rerecorded the Ghost's lines from the Alpha to the Beta, not to mention they removed a bit of the lines from that mission.
-
Game mechanics were polish not change, the vendors inventory can always be changed, overall it was a but of polish on the game nothing major.Youve clearly never played an alpha if you think that was it
-
The playable alpha was a demo, but that is irrelevant, and that's why I didn't bring it up. I'm talking about Bungie officially stating that they entered Alpha stage in May.
-
Yeah but they completely changed the original story so technically speaking that was for the new game not the original
-
I'm sorry but defuq are you talking about?
-
So wait a second. You're saying that Destiny just entered Alpha... a few month before it came out? I would argue, I would say something; but a post of that level of ignorance deserves to be forgotten and ignored.
-
Believe whatever conspiracy theory you want, but Bungie never officially announced entering Alpha stage until late May.

Edited by RubberBunny: 11/6/2014 8:04:13 PMActually as a member of the F&F Alpha, it was rather recent. That being said, production on the game, itself, ended about 6-12 months ago -- We know that for a fact. Further, at E3 Bethesda showed Dawnguard and later swapped it to DLC only content so, your point in your OP is actually a fallacy...Regardless of content.

"I've been a game developer for 11 years" As stated by you in a different thread.

Actually Bethesda did, thanks.

Holy shit, I didn't think people could ever be this fucking retarded.
