Yeah, compare it to skyrim, a single player game riddled with hundreds of bugs. Destiny has less content but it has far more polish, and it can be played with friends.

Sure you can play it with friends... And do absolutely nothing with them because there's so little content that it's all rehashed and repetitive. I'll take a glitchy game stocked with things to do, over a polished turd that couldn't hold my attention for over a month.

But Destiny DOES compare with the number of bugs! //#1! Woooo!

Sky rim beats destiny hands down every time.i love destiny but elder scrolls is and always will be the better.just my opinion

Skyrim was a joke. Lots of content with no substance. The game was bland, dungeons were meh, combat sucked imo. It's a boring game. In fact, it's one of the most boring games I played last gen.

Thank you finally some one else that thinks Skyrim is a joke. It was basically the same game as Oblivion only with dragons they didn't even add any additional races. Skyrim bored me beyond belief.

New combat system? Improved melee combat, highly improved magical combat, revamped skill progression to name a few things that are DRASTICALLY different than in oblivion.
-
The combat still felt the same, the skill progression was only different in that they added perks and gave you a path to follow other than that the process for leveling was the same. The skill set was pretty much the same, the factions you could belong to were the same, oh wait you could be a werewolf. It was the same stale world you ran around in in Oblivion, with the same stale enemies, except they had prettier rendering. The game was bland and lackluster not deserving of all the praise it got.

Before you speak of polish, play the Vault of Glass. It is STILL ridiculously buggy despite it's delayed release and several patches dedicated almost entirely to fixing it. Makes me wonder how many of the "over 500 employees" working on this game actually play test it. This game does not meet the high standard of quality game design and experience that Bungie has set via their previous titles. This is why so many people are passionately disappointed with this game, myself and the OP included.
