i have to agree and disagree with you on a couple of points, one: we cant really say bungie had any of these areas fully developed, having short cuts that show a texturized area doesnt mean that they were populated, that bugs were eliminated, or that story content had been written. two: the content being on the disk does not make it complete, it is a strategy to diminish the size of downloads, they had the areas rendered, but they were not populated properly, cut scenes were not developed, story was not associated, all of these things i truly believe are still in development, from the get go destiny advertised that there would be at least 2 expansions, so im not mad about that and you should not be either. the game is tiny, we can agree on that, it should have places like old chicago, fact of the matter is i dont think bungie cut anything back, they just werent ready to deliver on time. the worlds are beautifully rendered, and this is an MMO. maintaining servers is difficult, even for a company like blizzard, who often monthly has problems and needs to shut servers down for 6-10 hours. destiny has completely avoided this, there have been a fair plethora of connection problems, but nothing enmass. cut them some slack, i didnt buy the game launch week because i knew i wanted to wait for reviews, and ign gave it a 7.2 (i think) which is crap. but i still got it to play with my friends, which is the single greatest thing this game has. no it doesnt have raid matchmaking (which shouldnt be a problem in reality) and the chat function wasnt fully thought out, but every other social aspect of this game is phenomenal. they arent lazy, unintelligent, mismanaged, or incompetent. your mad you spent money on a game that isnt living up to expectation, so be mad at yourself for not waiting and having unrealistic expectations, and be mad at bungie for showing off stuff that wasnt available at launch, cause i completely agree thats not right. at all. "content may change" isnt an excuse for entire areas to be gone.
