You've not paid much attention to how to do things have you, you can farm spinmetal, relic iron, helium, spirt bloom and trade them all in for marks and rep to the crucible traders then you can buy what you want. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PLAY PVP

  • I paid a great amount of attention actually, to the community too, not just my own personal feelings on the subject. The point is to that we do not want to gather (in PVE) to trade in for a small amount of PVP/Crucible marks. I gather enough things as it is for my gear, I don't want to do that when they could simply patch it so I would have something to spend all our hard earned Vanguard marks on.

Crucible marks n rep for playing crucible Vanguard marks n rep for playing pve And everything else can be obtained in either mode. Tell me how that's not fair. Your telling me people who only play pvp should able to buy vanguard stuff with there hard earned crucible marks and not have to grind strikes at all Edited all the auto correct that my phone puts in lol

  • Not at all, you misunderstand. The factions only sell items for Crucible marks, which you can only obtain from trading in materials or playing PVP. I am saying that you should be able to buy from the factions with Vanguard marks AND Crucible marks, so it is fair.

  • And you only get vanguard marks for vanguard stuff from playing strikes and other pve, it's the same from both sides. You still have to rank the faction up no matter what, it's even more beneficial for pve players than crucible players, as pve still get vanguard marks as well as rep, then you sell materials and get more rep for your faction plus marks as well. Pvp just get rep n marks for then not a single vanguard mark in sight. It's the same amount of effort from both sides but it's better for pve players

  • I strongly disagree, the factions should not be mutually exclusive to PVP or PVE at all. It doesn't matter how the reputation or marks are earned, it matters where they can be spent and to have five places to spend Crucible marks and only two for the Vanguard marks is clearly not fair. What is the point of all these Vanguard marks I have worked hard to earn if I can not spend them? It really does just need patching.
