if you are for or against state why.
bungie has formally stated they will never and have no intentions of implimenting one, but maybe if enough of the forum pop agrees or disagrees they could in a perfect world listen.
I believe there should be. not for the players or to fix the shitty loot system, but for bungie to keep it's gamers. From a PR standpoint your loot system is flawed, and you have no intent on changing it, so let the players fix it by letting them trade. the game is at a point where there is little to no real world value on raid gear or loot if you are saying there's no trade for RWT prevention.
-
Bungie, at least tell us in he patch notes if it's even worth implementing. You've ignored many posts and you could at least explain why you're not implementing them.
-
I voted no, simply because I don't want to be outmatched by a guy with more money than me. Admittedly, I'm not sure how common that would happen, but I'd prefer that it never did. Plus, in a weird way, I like RNGesus. With the ability to create three characters (Either three of one or one of three) you have some fairly solid odds of earning some really great gear without external trading.
-
I would love to give a couple of my buddies my duplicate exotics
-
6 RepliesWill never happen cause then people will pay REAL money on the side for desired weapons... This will never happen.
-
If there is trade, the only way it may not break the game is to have it to where you can only trade something of equal value, exotic sniper for exotic weapon ect
-
1 ReplyNo direct weapon or armor trading. Just engram, material and possibly glimmer.
-
Yes but they have to come up with a system that will bot be abused. I do not know exactly how they work because ive never played MMOs before but i do know that for almost all sytems they are abused greatly. I think bungie is trying to come up with a system its just that im assuming that it is complicated to come up with a system that cannot be abused
-
Yes Then Christmas noobs will get their friend's spare exotics in a trade for some rubbish uncommon What there should be is a xur exotic exchange where you can trade 2 exotics for another exotic of your choice, but only one in the same slot, so 2 heavy exotics for ghorn or 2 special exotics for P&T
-
Any mmo that allows trading between two different accounts will have many other issues including black market deals. It would become a freemium game from farmers. Getting weapons and armor would mean nothing because you could just pay people to do it. I would like it, but prefer they didn't. Drop rates and better returns on engrams have fixed most of the reasons I wanted it.
-
In between members of the fireteam after a strike yes. Anything else. No
-
No because trading has ruined every game I have played exept pokemon
-
No because farmers will pop up, doing raids and gathering items, deleting and remaking characters to sell the gear for real money. Exotic for exotic wouldn't work either because people would buy a ton of crappy exotics from xur to use as trade fodder. People would be able to sell 32 and ruin the game in my opinion.
-
Yes I got exotics my friend wants and he gots exotics I want
-
The best way to do this is to make gear acquired during raid/nightfall/strike available to trade for 1 hour with another member of the fireteam that was present when the item was rewarded. Some mmo's already do this and it works well.
-
Absolutely. But it should be very strict. No whites and greens for purples and yellows.
-
It would be really simple to implement. Since they don't want RWT just make it so the trade has to be equivalent, Exotic for exotic ect.
-
Just wait and watch. You won't be saying if you xur your items. You will be saying if you payed real money for you gear. If trading becomes part of this game. Farmers and third party site will pop up and the forum will be populated with spam saying "glimmer rush, give gjallahorn with every purchase." Like just no. They could solve this by expanding xur. But whatever. Peace.
-
I want a trade system like only after rewards screen, for the fireteam. For example:- Finished nightfall with a fireteam of 2. Homie got Hawkmoon I got Hard light. He wants hard light and I want hawkmoon. That's a trade right there.
-
I voted yes. The RNG system only works when there's a trade system to balance it out. That being said, it needs to be limited. Only after a raid or nightfall or something or only with friends
-
Edited by AnyOLName: 12/29/2014 5:00:04 PMYes, they should implement a trade system. But it should be highly restrictive as to not devalue items or open it up to exploits. You should be able to trade for legendary/exotic weapons and armor only(Not including class items). Only an item for an item single window option. And be restrictive to DLC's(If you don't have the DLC, you can't get DLC items). That way it's up to the two people involved to set a vale to the item.
-
Gear is how you lvl. It would break every aspect of the game to allow trade. Maybe a year from know. And for guns they won't cuz that is why people keep coming back to play. To try and get those guns they have had no luck getting yet...
-
Yes and no. No because I don't feel like getting hundreds of msgs of some idiot saying he's selling a hawkmoon for a $10 psn code . yes , because it would fix the RNG
-
4 RepliesWithin players NO, within an AI, YES, there should be a trader that comes once every 2 days and has some offer, like a legendary engram for 30 motes or something,
-
Noooope. People will start charging money for it! It'll go to shit fast.
-
I'm gunna give that a big -blam!- no. If we could trade alot of us would likely get all the gear we wanted way too quickly. The grind is real and going on a unlucky streak is rough but if we could all take the easy way out by parting with another vex from the pile or one of the 10 ghorns from xur (if that ever happens again) and trade it for what we want what's the point?
-
Edited by JohnnyTooFastToGet: 12/29/2014 4:40:42 PMBecause people like my brother who have 3 or 4 of every exotic could just be giving them out and normally I wouldn't care but then PvP players would complain probably(I wouldn't care IMO) and also it would be too easy to beat the raids and stuff if everyone had all these exotics. Edit: I am neutral and that's my opinion
