if you are for or against state why.
bungie has formally stated they will never and have no intentions of implimenting one, but maybe if enough of the forum pop agrees or disagrees they could in a perfect world listen.
I believe there should be. not for the players or to fix the shitty loot system, but for bungie to keep it's gamers. From a PR standpoint your loot system is flawed, and you have no intent on changing it, so let the players fix it by letting them trade. the game is at a point where there is little to no real world value on raid gear or loot if you are saying there's no trade for RWT prevention.

No, no, no. Gamble with RNG. Have fun, play the game until you find what you desire. Trading only opens up people selling "Ghorn 5.99€ on eBay" posts.

Edited by fatedsorrow: 6/3/2015 10:38:44 PMYou should implement better grammar first.
:D
No trading ruined borderlands 2 for me
-
No I think at this point implementing trading would be a waste of time on the developers end. But I'd like to see trading in destiny 2.
-
No, it doesn't work with this game. They would have to redesign the entire game for trading to work
-
I would have previously said no but now I really couldn't care less. I'd trade my second Gjallarhorn for that iron banner sniper with final round lol
-
Because it would ruin the game. Trading etheric light would just ruin any satisfaction in getting to 34, which might I add took me 5 hours all in all.

Edited by Pixel Crisis: 6/3/2015 8:41:49 PMNo..No...Noooooo! After playing WoW for years you have no idea (unless you played it too) how bad things can get due to trading / auction houses. It brings in a lot of hacking (because now real money can be made). Servers turn in to shit due to an influx of farmers ... which then creates a market outside the game itself for in game items etc. It can get bad...Bungie is looking at player trading possibly though...
-
poor OP, he wants trade but the poll Elan's toward no lol
-
2 RepliesGifting? Maybe, trading no!!! this would open the door for in game purchasing.
-
Nope.
-
I think they should implement a trade system for ppl who are looking to complete their exotic collections. Let's say one guy has 3 Gjallarhorns and is looking for an Thunderlord, the trade system would work well for ppl needing exotics.
-
Trading should only be allowed after a reward for a for a minute or two. Cause if one person is given their 6th gally but needs what the other guy got and vice versa it would make sense.
-
1 ReplyEdited by GenXer: 6/3/2015 6:39:22 PMNo. Farmers. Gray/Black Market.
-
A VERY LIMITED VERY VERY VERY LIMITED. Like 1 trade per week for 100 motes of light per person (so 200 motes an min to trade) no raid/PoE gear could be sold, and no vex/Necro/HoW cipher exotics. But I'm perfectly fine with giving a noob one of my 7 icebreakers for 1 of their 5 Gjallarhorns.
-
I think that they should, but they should put restrictions on it. Only same tier items, legendary for legendary, etc. Said traded items should also never have been used by the person trading them. So if you used it, it's bound to you
-
It would be good even for just friends as you could loan a friend a gun if there gun is bad or something like that, I myself like to earn my items in games or on a mission with a friend but it would be good to trade some unused items for something you actually want/need
-
Edited by Boom TJ: 6/3/2015 6:37:49 PMAbsolutely not. Never should this game have a trading system. Here's why: If Destiny had as much gear and weapons as say, Diablo or WoW or borderlands, then yes. But since this game has fewer than 50 exotics weapons and fewer than 50 exotics armor pieces, give or take a few, then everyone would have everything immediately nearly. All the forums would be posts of: "I have an extra Thunder lord, anybody wanna trade for an extra Gjallarhorn? Gamertag is: x420xMcYoloSwaggx message for trade." I have every piece of armor except for one for each class. Have every weapon except for 2/3 elder cipher weapons. Nightfalls, raids and arena chests more times than not are only gonna give me stuff to dismantle. I wish I didn't have some weapons and armor, give me some extra motivation to play. So if the day comes where destiny has hundreds of very rare items, do not ever implement a trading system. Never, ever, ever.

8 RepliesWould trade my ghallarhorn for thorn. Lol any takers.
-
I'm sorry but this would be exploited wayyy too easily.
-
Yes but only simple trades between clan mates. If a buddy needs a few weapon parts or some heavy synth I would like to be able to lend a hand, but I don't want to see people passing around weapons and armor.
-
It would break the game
-
They won't do it because there is not enough content in the game, so allowing trading would allow people to get items faster than now.
-
No, real money trading would become very common and pretty much ruin the experience for most.
-
Trading would work because it would actually INCREASE player time. Some people don't wanna grind because grinding is stupid. Bungie said that ascending gear would increase player time, the whole re-working for destiny with the expansion is to increase player time and decrease grinding. All of these losers talking about not grinding and working for gear are the very thing Bungie is trying to leave in the past. If they put restrictions on weekly trading it wouldn't break any mechanics. It would set people up from the get-go and they could do any content they wanted for more rewards later on. Say you traded gear to get to level 34, but you still wanted that exclusive Skolas gear and stuff that you couldn't trade this week? You can go in equipped and let RNG handle the rest. Once you've gotten your loot you can wait next week to trade it for some ToO gear because maybe you sucked at it and it has a higher discipline roll. It would add an economy to Destiny that players could manipulate to their advantage. But then again Bungie dumbed this game down to be simplistic for 12 year olds.

Like everyone gets 1 trade coin a month.
