Hey DeeJ, I can send you the address to my place so you can just start burglarizing it. I mean, that would probably be easier than developing a game that isn't finished and then selling the rest of it for ten years after that. What kind of bs is "pay the same price as a playstation owner but you don't get all of it for a year...or maybe longer". Bunch of con artists dude, when I read the details of this DLC I honestly thought I was in my spam folder, reading over some African prince scam.

  • Offer exclusive (limited time exclusive) content to one system and it's "you suck" "that's not fair" "BooHoo Whaa Whaa Cry Cry". However, it's okay for a game to be made for one companies consoles? I mean Halo has never left the MS environment, even the PC versions were tagged Games for Windows.

It's not so much about it being an exclusive as it is that destiny is clearly an unfinished game being sold in increments. I would absolutely love to play "the last of us" and I played a few of the killzone games at a friends house, which was cool. I understand there are games I'm going to miss out on, I get that that. But a multiplatform game, that is unfinished, with parts of the game going to one console or another? I'd feel the same way if it was just on xb. The dlc is the actual problem, its supposed to be an mmo. In mmo's there's supposed to be plenty of stuff to keep you playing. I never had a problem with Guild Wars when I played back in the day. Skyrim had more to do easily and yea some of the missions were the same but they were different at the same time.

  • Bungie never said Destiny was going to be an MMO. There may have been a statement that mentions it would have MMOesque qualities though that would have to looked into. The areas on the disk that appear to be part of the DLC are in fact part of the original map set to use for the DLC. Including them on the disk was fully the intent of Bungie. I really don't believe this was foul play on Bungies part, some seem to believe it was. Including things like area maps as part of an initial release is not uncommon. For one it lessens the amount of data to be downloaded when an expansion is released. A tactic often used by todays higher end MMOs. SOE has done this with several expansion, they will include elements connected to an upcoming expansion in small chunks as part of the normal maintenance updates. This way when zero day arrives players can dive into the content ASAP. As far as the missing story and lack of things to do. I don't get it either. The ground work for an excellent story is there. I am not sure if it has something to do with that guy leaving Bungie in mid development (not sure I would buy that anyway when you work for a company anything you create becomes property of the company). Perhaps the story has holes in it as intended. Consider your character has just been revived after being dead for a long time (like being in a coma for 15 years and waking up) trying to put things together as to when where and how is going to be rough. Who knows. Until Bungie comes clean it's anyones guess IF there was content that has been removed and for what reason. Don't take this as me defending the state of the game or Bungie's silence about the issue. I did that at the launch, now I feel just as let down as all the others. I really would like something other than all this RNG for a loot/reward system.
