I've been a fan of Bungie since Halo: Combat Evolved. I did not come in to this game expecting anything near Halo. For that, I was glad to see it was a fresh game with fresh scenery. Beautiful scenery. I heard all the complaints. Stale voice acting. Bad story. Boring/bored. And I defended this game that had such high expectations and large fan base, new and old to the genre.
I'll still defend the fact that we had Peter Dinklage as a voice actor, and not Tyrion Lannister (all games will have a few bad lines). The themes and the worlds and the view was stunning and new. But they were backgrounds and I wish I could see more inside. I wanted to explore. Be a pioneer, like Bungie seems to have intended. I got bored, too. I leveled a few characters, deleted a couple for something new to try out. Three slots is too little.
My biggest issue, though, is that they've sold themselves. I was offered Call of Duty opt-ins when I went to purchase my copy of Destiny. I didn't find it to be a big deal when they had DLC on the disc. It's always a work in progress, I thought. Knowing they have a ten year plan, and for 20$ per piece, I felt like I was betrayed. I understood the views then. I had may as well purchase the game again in ten years when it's all bundled together.
I think the worst part was hearing that Playstation got something over Xbox. This isn't biased; I only own an Xbox One for Destiny now. The problem is that Diablo had the same problem, because Blizzard partnered with Activision as well. I think all of the problems stem from them with the companies they... infest. To think that I get less because I paid for a different system? There should be no difference. It's playing favourites, and as a customer I don't think that's fair, nor appropriate.
I dearly hope Bungie steps up their game. I've followed them since Halo started, and I've played their other series since. To summon a cliche, I hope they get their soul back. I'm sure I've missed a few points, and I hope one day to be back, but for the moment I'm going to put Destiny away. I'll be watching news on the game. I hope most of my points have come off as objective reasoning.
See you starside, Guardians.

Alrighty Matie! Take care! Love you! Bye!!!

I barely read the paragraph, the only question I have for you is, what makes you think the community cares about you leaving destiny? Is this gonna change our experience at all? I'm actually asking and I don't pretend to be rude

Xbox one has exclusives too. Its just the way it is now. Hell, look at Nintendo... almost all exclusives, for good reason though. I chose ps4 because bloodborne coming out early next year, but sadly I will miss out on one of my favorite sagas (halo). But I weighed the exclusives for each console and chose the one id get the most out of. Being a huge dark souls fan I went with ps4 for bloodborne.

The lack of game content really bothers me as well, it reminds me of the early Eve Online. I won't be buying a PS4 to keep playing. Any MMO has to justify the users equipment & connection costs (Play Station Plus). I measure them against movie tickets. If it costs less to see a movie then I unsubscribe to an MMO. As for game system disparity just blame Microsoft. They burn bridges everyday. I do not believe in system exclusive anything but at least this isn't as bad as how HALO played out.

Im a Lvl 30 Hunter, and im sure im gonna get on Destiny every here and there. But 1 new strike, and 1 new raid is not nearly enough PvE content to keep me occupied. Not even a new planet, which is absolutely ridiculous. Notice i didnt mention the 3regular missions , which arent even worth mentioning, and the PvP maps are a plus, but we dont need any more PvP content. Hahaha like really 1 strike and 1 raid? Cmon now, you could have at least at the very minumum give us a new planet, but no. 10 year plan Lol

I agree with you and I have a ps3 for console, and yet I want equality for both console. Also see you on the starside guardian....but I can't give up yet, but I'm not going to buy the dlc either.

343: we just sent to say "thanks!" to our fans. That's what MMC is all about. Bungie: PS gets exclusive content. Gee, I wonder what company is actually still trying to connect with their customers.
