New DLC content

So this article mentions that Sony consoles will get an additional strike while XBOX consoles will not. Yet the owners of both will have to pay the same price. Am I missing some information here? Or is there just some trickle down bias for Playstation?

Some clarification: In February 2013, it was announced that Sony and Bungie/Activision are in a long term partnership for their new project Destiny. This has been known for nearly two years, and this is part of that partnership agreement - which is also why there was a public Destiny Alpha, exclusive for PlayStation Gamers, and the Beta was on PlayStation before Xbox, not to mention the preorder timed exclusives available first on PlayStation. For the article you're referring to, this is another branch of that agreement. Again, this was announced back in February of 2013, this is just following suit. You can view the video I linked above if you want to watch it yourself.
WE DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH OUR HANDS!
