How is it an "important necessity"? There just isn't enough items in game to even need trade. Any trade/gift can be exploited anyways. You can still dup gifted items if the right system isn't used. Bungie can't even stop a boss from falling off a cliff. Do you think they can make a trade system that would get exploited?

  • You make good and valid points. However I don't see the point in making a system where you end up with the same items over and over again (or energy/shards) but never giving you just one, any kind (boots, chest, arms), just one piece of armor after running the raid every week 3 times. While you are probably right, that Bungie might not be able to create a gifting system that works properly... I will ask you do you have gear to make you level 30 or do you not care about acquiring the currently available set gear to make you level 30?

  • No level 30 gear and don't care to make level 30. I have fun playing the game how I wanna play. I hate that I'm forced to do raid to get max level. Also I have nothing of value to trade to someone who has extra raid armor.

  • How would trade help me get to 30? Esp if the person has gone through raid 30 times and has their items maxed? They have no need for shards, which I still need, or exotics cause they prob have 3 of each.

  • Did you see that thing up top... second option. It is called gifting an item to someone. Although since you have no need to become level 30... there should be no reason to ask anyone for level 30 armor. Just going by what you said.
