Hi guys.
I was playing around with my settings and found that if you clear your system cache it fixes the monkey errors I've been getting every five minutes.
Here's what I did:
Go to Xbox dashboard.
Go to system settings
Go to network
Go to advanced settings
Go to alternate MAC address
Clear
Your Xbox will tell you It will restart.
Once you have restarted play destiny and all should be ok.
I have had the same issues and as soon as I did this I haven't had a problem for the past 45 mins on Mars patrol.
Let me know if this helps and share with bungie if it does!!
Have fun.

1 ReplyI was having horrible issues with Monkey. I then did a combination on three things. Reset my router Unplugged xbox for ten minutes Then when I loaded back up cleared the alternate mac address. Allowed me to play for several hours last night, finished all bounties, weekly, nightfall, raid without issue. The issue may be older cached data on the Xbox One that is stored causing issues with the patched data on destiny's servers. So although the clearing if Mac address shouldn't logically fix the issue, I am wondering if the action clears whatever caching issue was there and that's why it anecdotally worked. We may not understand the extent of what that action dies behind the scenes. Worked for myself and 7 other clan members who were all having issues. If you haven't tried it already I suggest you follow the above 3 steps and give it a whirl. For the couple of naysayers, if you haven't been able to play for hours and this method to try and fix it takes merely a few minutes,, I I St don't understand that.
