Using cover and kiting enemies is a basic strategy in just about any game like this; it is literally impossible to just run into a room full of high level mobs and expect to both tank and kill everything without getting destroyed. Using strategies that keep you from getting killed that don't inherently break the games mechanics are not exploits; while on the other hand it would appear that using mechanics in ways that aren't intended in order to gain a significant advantage over or even skip a boss is an exploit.
Until Bungie decides to place kill timers in areas that we currently use for cover or kiting I do not consider either to be an exploit but simply a viable strategy; if for some reason Bungie does impose kill timers on these locations I can't even begin to fathom how we are actually supposed to accomplish these missions considering the severity in difference between the amount of armor we have and the amount of damage even the lowest tier of enemies can do with both elemental burn and mission mods like lightswitch in play. Taking away these strategies would make strikes like the Summoning Pits and Winter's Run nearly impossible...

I don't consider the shrieker room using cover it is barely even in the boss area cover is what I use in the tiger strike on the moon when I duck behind pillars in the main room and shoot him the way normal people would. The shrieker room is cheap and dumb but it is the only way to possibly complete it

Agreed 100%. People have been playing games like this for years, finding strategies to defeat a boss or difficult mission. If it isn't hacking, cheating, or game breaking in any way, what's the problem? For some weird reason people think everyone is supposed to play the same way.

No I do not suggest that. You guys are implying something that isn't there. I am merely interested if people choose the hard and painful way or choose the easy way out. I do not care how you play the game as an individual however it is interesting to see how the masses choose to play as it is telling about the game design in Destiny.

I wasn't talking about you, I'm talking about the people on the forums who cry about it.
