You dont need to be able to keep every item in the game just for vanity sake. You are meant to have to micromanage your inventory and keep only what you do need and not what you want.
there is more than enough choice as it is, you don't need 1000 different ways to do something just so you can be unique.
And those other games with those playlists do not have the features that this game does have. features not always being game play mechanics.. but graphics such as lighting and shading. For each feature added one will either have to be reduced or removed. cannot keep just adding more all the time and keep all at the same level.

You don't NEED shaders at all. They exist purely for vanity. Since many of the best or most interesting shaders are random rewards, getting rid of them simply to make space is not ideal. This applies to emblems as well. Ships too but like I said, they should not exist solely for vanity. In this day and age it is all ABOUT customization. Customizable characters are a must and the more diversity available the better. Customization options are featured in most game reviews and games that limit this area are often ill received by the community. (Dragon Age II for example.) So yes, we do need 1000 ways to do something for the sake of being unique. While those old games may not have the graphics and lighting effects of Destiny, (and weren't trying to be console MMO's) they were in fact OLD games. Better graphics on a next gen console are a given. However, that doesn't mean the console can't take it. Halo 1 and 2 were both on Xbox original and the difference is ridiculous. This being a ten year game, it will of course evolve and push the limits of the next generation of console. I am not asking that these changes be made in time for the next patch, but I don't buy that the X1 and PS4 can't handle it.

In this day and age is is NOT all about customization to every player. Only to those with vanity issues. Customizable characters to the level of what the gamer wants is NOT a must, but a want. NO you do not need it you WANT it and there is a very distinct difference between the two. The game does not have to let YOU play how YOU want just because YOU think so. The game was made generally for all consoles and was not developed separately for each one. So what ever the lowest can do is what all can do so no one group cries about how unfair that the other got more and they did not. There is still a lot of players on the x360 and ps3. Only after the 360 and ps3 are no longer supported will you find games that truly use the full potential of the newer system. As long as the game is made for all it will not.
