Yeah that's like what? Uh, I dunno a good 35% of the player base right there? That's a ballpark estimate, but that sounds about right. Coz, yknow, that'll be soooo good for the longevity of this game and not to mention the franchise. That's a game I'd buy. Check that I'd buy that game twice. Check that I'd buy that game four, no, seven times. Ten times. Awesome comment... I read that comment twice. No, check that I read that comment four, no, ten times. I printed it out and stapled it to my wall. Check that. I stapled it to my front door. Check that I got it tattooed on my ass. You -blam!-ing clunge...

This game does not need those whiners in it at all. For they do nothing but whine since the game is not like CoD and this game was not meant to be like CoD or play exactly like CoD in the pvp.

Activision doesn't care. They want CoD numbers. Do you think Bobby Kotick cares about sustaining a call constructive community and fueling an innovative franchise? I don't think so. That guy is a business man. He only cares about the bottom line. Don't think for a second that once the CoD people leave that they won't do everything they can to get them back. They'll drive this franchise to the ground and drain it of all its essence before it isn't profitable before the ten year contract is up. This game needs its player base. All of it. Who gives a shit if they whine? They're just people venting on a easily accessible forum. Its amusing. Probably more so than the game at this point for them. For me too. The game is balls.

You do realize that both games are published by Activision so they are not going to care which game they players are in because they still make money of off them no matter what.
-
That's exactly my point. The only people who lose are the people who genuinely like Destiny and are not in the market for a CoD game. Activision will still make money. But, if one of Activision's products is making tons of money and one slightly less so down the line... It stands to reason that they'll try and make the latter more profitable by making it more like the former. Turning Destiny into CoD. First step down that road is for people to stop playing now.

Or they may keep it completely separate from CoD in how it plays. Only time will tell that answer.

We can only hope.
