No offense but if Bungie did incorporate this, then there'd be no point it doing the Raid... Just grind for coins and then EVERYONE will be rank 30, BOOORRIINNNGGG! In a way people that actually made the effort to do the Raid to get their gear should be unique(in terms of level). Anyway to topic, so you not only get bought exotic armor, weapons, weapon XP boosters, and legendary bike mods, you now want to buy your way to rank 30 with him now? What a way to say fu*k you to those who spent a lot of time in the raid to get to rank 30... If you want unique gear, try the blue rarity armor, nobody uses those lol.

  • Check out my reply to Dan's post. I also read your other post and both you and Dan have good ideas. I also know for a fact, he has finished the raid without taking advantage of any glitches, more than once.

You can run through the raid once and get the same things people who ran through the raid six times did. In a world of RNG, Xûr is a semi-solid anchor. The fact that you can only reach 30 through one specific armor type contradicts their claims to being able to customize your play style. And no, I haven't beaten the raid myself but you can read enough information from others to get a hint.

It just seems asinine that lately people just wanna buy their way into stuff rather than find it... Sure RNG in this game is a bi*ch, but c'mon people really just wanna dumb this game down even lower to buying their way into everything? You might as well remove Strikes, Raids, exotic missions, engrams, etc just to get the feel of how boring it would be to just buy into everything... Rather than Bungie just have us do this repetitive sh*t and wait two flippin' months to BUY our way into a new raid, they need to create new ways(other than suggestions of buying your way) into getting new gear and getting to level 30. This game isn't just about casual players wanting to get stuff with little effort, the hardcore gamers that actually put time in deserve a say in this as well.

  • I'd be fine with a way that involved reaching level 30 that was doing strikes/crucible or even bounties. I just want more customization for armors.

  • bungie is trapped i his issue. own fault.. you cant make a single special raid gear which is the only item that enables you to be the highest level and then state that you can customize your character.. if they keep the way, there need to be a new raid soon, which will make the VoG gear obsolete, and you will have only a very small fraction of players wanting to go on, since the casuals (which are the Mayority) dont want to grind for 50+ times only to move on in the game (since this is the only content that is actually left to play) especially when there s no matchmaking.. so people would stuck at evel 29 not able to continue without the raidgear... -> not possible or very unlikely.. casuals will be pissed and leave (silent mayority) second way, there IS a way to get level 30 without raid gear.. now the hardcore gamers are pissed, the hard earned armor is "worthless" because not limited anymore.. hardcore gamer will venture on to the next raid and get better gear, but wil also get pissy since they need to level everything op again.. also some have enough shards and energy to level x gear items up (not very clever Bunige, not very celver, the same mistake as with the queens wrath bounty..) now also the hardcore gamer will realize that basically their "success" can only be temporary, since all gear can be obtained later in a different way.. (loud minority) so bungie realy needs some clever solutions for that death trap they put themselves into.. honestly, this and some other jinxes leave the impression that they basically havent finished the game.. and are now beta testing the game in public, i just cant believe that SO much slipped the attention of the Quality Team ... starting from the "Vidoc Leftovers" Intro (watch the ships incoming when starting a new char.. and then compare it to the Game footage review. its the same ( check the falling tower in the background when the fallen ship arrives.. and the greyed out devil walker.. )
