Actually atheists don't worship Darwin, most of us simply believe what his experiments and observations prove. We don't have Sunday masses praying to him nor do we have shrines built to meditate to. Atheism is the absence of religion and not all atheists believe in Darwin's theories either. Some people believe in absolutely nothing. So atheism is not a religion. Sorry kiddo

Atheists do belief in something greater than themselves and though it may not be a religion by name it still technically could be classified as one

I believe in evolution yes. Thats not necessarily believe in a higher power. Evolution is a theory based off of a series of experiments and observations. Me believing in evolution doesn't make it something greater or a higher power.... Its a scientific theory. I also believe that pizza is delicious and I believe that 2+2=4, but it doesn't make it a religious aspect, nor does it make it something greater.
