Explain...
-
I've already replied to this kind of thread 2 times, so here's my copy&paste: I don't think a Trading System would be healthy for this game for a simple reason, this will definetely break it, opening Destiny to hacking, duplicating items, proxy exploits and RMT (real money trade). The idea of trading my items is exciting...but I've played too much RPGs/MMOs and got some experience about, it will definetely turn into dirty stuff (not the majority of players of course), I'm sorry :(
-
If trading was limited to class specific gear it wouldn't break the in game economy, if I bought a random engram for 23 motes of light and I couldn't use it then I should be able to trade it with another friend who also spent his hard earned motes. If I had decoded an engram that I could use then I wouldn't need to buy another anyway, so in effect it's harmless to the games economy. Maybe even a buy back option from xur, if you get a duplicate item you have the option to sell it for strange coins?
-
Doing so would not open there security to hack the game therefore is an invalid argument and read my comments to tge other posts as those to are invalid arguments unless you can provide valid proof as you are going on a possibility which may or may not happen but there is a possibility for everything therefore makes your comment invalid to the argument
-
Well of course I can't have any proof since there's no trading system in Destiny atm, but, as I and other users stated, there are many precedents in other similar games, so there's a good chance it would happen even in Destiny. Of course it can be eventually patched, or maybe not, who knows...
-
I trade an item to you, you have the item, before the game has a chance to save i turn off my system When i come back, you will still have the item I will also have the item still
-
Your stating a glitch that many games have and which can be fixed, Bungie can create a trading system to where it first takes your item and after it clears and be sent to tge other user, just like a normal post office would so the items van go through a clearing before being sent to another player which can take up to a 4-5 hour process or something so that it can't be duplicated, also not saying they won't but Bungie may not make the same mistake as you are going off a what if therefore an invalid point to use for your argument
-
Okay well then how about no trading because it goes against the philosophy of the game they wanted to create and because -blam!- giving stuff to noobs and dumb friends.
-
This is how it works for console diablo3 and borderlands games. Makes items worthless, once its found it is spread to everyone
-
You get red death you don't like it so you give it to some newbie that didn't work for it destiny is about finding guns and gear with a epic story how you got it it's not epic when you say oh he give it to me when I got to lvl 20
-
Thats your opinion
-
My opinion is the same as bungies that's way it's not in the game
-
Lol and how do you know Bungies opinion ?
-
Because they said it before destiny came out
