I notice that there are a lot of people with issues and gripes. That is understandable. Every person has their own preferences, but the community of Destiny is so large that the developers at Bungie cannot keep up with the requests of every player. Changes take time, lots of time, and all of these requests cannot be done all at once. I assume that the group dealing with the fixes and patches have to pick and choose items that are seem as "top priority". Now this priority status may not match up with what certain players are asking for, but these players have to be patient. Fixing the "problem" with the highest frequency of occurrences is usually the first on the list. Personally, I find Destiny to be spot on with what I was expecting, fun from the start. I know that some people will say that I suck, or that I can't get loot or what not to make me seem unimportant. That is okay. We are all entitled to our opinion. I just hit level 20 with my titan a few days ago. I suck in the Crucible, unless it is a large map, in which I'm okay. I have played a few strikes, but mostly for bounties. I like the story missions, even though they are repetitive. And patrolling planets just for the atmosphere. This is a game meant to be expanded. The maps are a little small, but the detail involved in each is much more that WoW when it started (yes, I know that there is a huge hardware gap between the start of WoW and the start of Destiny, but the perspective is almost right). The story was made to expand. The Vault of Glass was meant to be a taste of raids to come. Certain areas of the maps are locked, waiting for the right time to open up the space for more exploration, more depth of lore, more events to raise you guardian higher. I enjoy the game, flaws and all. A perfect game is boring. A complete game, with some quirks, makes the experience that much more enticing. To the players that enjoy making their guardians into legends, I hope that you continue. To the players that aren't, I hope that you will some day. To the developers at Bungie and the teams keeping the peace, bounties, hot fixes, and patches running, keep up the good work, for many of this community enjoy what you have brought to us. To the guys at Destiny Tracker, keep on rocking the stats and features, someone has to have all the fun.

 • the story is like 5 hours long, there's hardly any lore, PvP is a joke and strikes get boring after an hour. what is this content you speak of?
the story is like 5 hours long, there's hardly any lore, PvP is a joke and strikes get boring after an hour. what is this content you speak of?
The problem with today's generation of gamers is that they all grew up on Call of Duty games. I can only surmise that you are also in this pool, Plusix, even if you haven't played Call of Duty. CoD gamers are the same as alcoholics: a shot glass is not enough, they want the whole bottle. Bungie has taken a rarely-seen step of launching a game light on content but with all the plugs necessary to expand the game massively over time. For myself, I am glad for that. It extends the experience and makes it far more gratifying. For the CoD gamers-- who want more and want it faster-- this will be a very challenging game to keep up. Which is sad, rather like when the drunk uncle shows up to Thanksgiving and keeps asking for more wine. You can't criticize him-- you can only cry.

 •
have you never heard of an mmo before?
Yep. And they all follow the same model: launch the game heavy with content, then release expansions or DLC that are comparatively light and not very satisfying. Bungie has flipped that model around: light base game, heavy DLC. Much more satisfying.
also please describe to me what is so innovative about this game. what's so original about a game with co op story, side quests and PvP?
I never declared Destiny to be an "innovative" game. It is pointless to discuss games in terms of "innovation". No game since the beginning of modern gaming has created brand new, completely original, never before seen mechanics or systems or stories or experiences. No game ever will.

 •
Bungie has flipped that model around: light base game, heavy DLC. Much more satisfying
what is satisfying about having to pay for the majority of a game when you already paid for this "light version of the game" as you put. you say this stuff but it's completely contradicted by what people are actually saying. I enjoy paying for complete games, if you're saying you're satisfied with paying for a light game and then paying more for more of the game that was just cut from release please know that you're the only one
