Then how about this: If I'm a warlock... don't give me Legendary/Exotic gear for a Hunter or Titan. Such nonsense to work hard and get an engram... only to decode it and it be absolutely useless. And no, I don't want to have to create and level-up another character to use it. Because there's no guarantee it won't happen again for the third class. Decodes for high-level gear should be 100% usable by the class doing the decoding. I think this is a serious flaw in game design insight.
