Problem is... only works if you happen to have a spare router kicking about. Reading bungies updates on caterpillar and cattle, they last stated that extensive investigatiom showed the problems were.outwith the players network setup amd that bungie were im discussions with demonware and various isps to try amd reduce the number of errors.

    Yeah I think the problem is that these gateways have to process so much on their own that they are dropping the "stay alive" packets that Bunnies servers send out to keep you connected. There is just so much traffic they are getting dropped. A dedicated router can handle much more traffic than a gateway. They are fairly cheap but I understand if people don't want to go buy one. They shouldn't have to. Although a lot of people have older routers laying around after changing ISPs or upgrading services. EDIT: This is not a permanent solution to the problem. Bungie something going on that is creating way too much traffic. I'm sure they will get it worked out eventually but for now a solution like this will work for most.
