Remove an ability that annoys you in the game mode that only a small percentage even play? Why, keep piping up and they might just do that!

  • Perhaps I should rename the topic then. "Change the Shoulder Barge" The Shoulder Charge is a OHK ability akin to a Super, unlike a super however, it can be used multiple time in quick succession. If you've ever fought against someone who used the Barge, you'd understand how infuriating it is to die to something that you can't fight against. True, you must be within shotgun range, though if you've played for any length of time you'd realize people are finding loopholes with the perk that allows them to use it in varying circumstances. Run against a wall to start Barge, charge room, kill 1 person, shotgun another. This perk can even be used in Mid-air so jumping away becomes an act of futility, not to mention its a melee and melee's inherently have a form of lock-on that allows you to connect your Punch/Barge/Palm/Knife. If you face a Titan and he's closed the gap, you are dead, end of discussion.

  • Maybe I should have been more clear... Only a small percentage actively play PvP. Why are abilities being buffed, nerfed etc based on the needs of pvpers? The obvious answer being that is those people that like to moan.

  • I understand only a small portion of the active community play Rumble, however this problem becomes greatly exacerbated in that particular playlist. I do feel it's properly balanced in team based game modes however, though this is because it becomes far too risky to use this ability when confronted with 6 players at once. I would hope Bungie implements a system to separate PvE and PvP stats, however I don't see that happening soon and I'd rather this problem were addressed now than in a month when we see an overflow of Shoulder Charging Titans.
