The game has a 10 YEAR plan. It makes sense for them to put in stuff that doesn't work as expected yet.
Think about it. It makes more sense to have a door that at the moment does nothing, compared to suddenly putting a door in the middle of a wall that wasn't there before.

id be willing to consider this if some of the areas didnt have ghosts and new enemies in them.

I understand the 10 year plan, but that's the entire franchise, spanning 4 Destiny games, and the subsequent Comet game. I get what you mean with the whole randomly adding a door thing, but seeing as we can actually open those doors, it sorta gives us thoughts. Hell, if the doors stayed shut and only opened if enemies spawned out of them, they'd be of no bother to me, but because they open to nothing, and we haven't had any word about them yet get's me intrigued.

It's a surprise though. Surely you don't want all the information given to you beforehand. That'd be boring. Being told where enemies spawn. How to defeat them. What you get from them. It ruins it imo. I like being able to round a corner, or open a door and be shocked to have an ogre glaring down at me with his creepy laser eyes.

That's very true, but I mean, they could at least tell us that something is going to happen to it, say, it'll access a new area yet to be reveled in the up coming DLC, or that it's a bug that was meant for Devs to test if the Ghost could open doors or not?
