Let's face it , half of the 3.2 million playing this game still are like my clan and I, Holding on to the hope that this game developed and quits catering to the casuals. It's honestly Activision's *BRAND NEW* CALL OF DUTY! IN SPACE! Three more months of lying and providing crap responses to our many pending questions will kill this title. As soon as the halo collective series comes out this title will lose 1/4 if it's players. Soon all that will be left is call of duty players. Get it together bungie. Your fans are counting on you to be yourselves. We all wish you hadn't signed a deal with activision. This weeks post enraged most of us. I doubt bungie even cares anymore.

Game has been out for a month. People act like major change happens over night.

28 RepliesConsole gaming IS for casuals, genius. Go play ARMA online...and then run back here with you casual tail between your casual legs.

In answer to your question No

You are going to have to get over the casual thing. Its been a argument for years on MMO forums. Casuals pay the bills, nothing is going to change that.

Catering to the casuals. So if it is easy to kill you. Then maybe the clan not that good.

1 ReplyReasons I doubt Bungie are as follows: - They release Queen's wrath, depreciating the value of legendary armor - Xur comes weekly, depreciating the value of all exotic armor and weapons - A level 2 can kill a level 29 in the Iron Banner - Iron Banner equipment (which you have to work extremely hard for) has no outstanding features worth working for, and pretty much puts it in line with other legendary equipment. Just a few. Don't care to list anymore than this.

Is there a reason you tried to make your uneducated opinions come across as fact? 1/2 of that blah blah 1/2 this blah blah 1/4 left blah blah. Sorry buddy but zero facts just a bunch of uneducated opinions. Hey no issues with opinions but when you try to push them off as fact well you kinda look like an idiot..

5 RepliesI ignore petulant children as well, so probably not. Good on them.

6 RepliesIf you have been with Bungie for a while then you know that Bungie cares for the fans of their games. Look at Halo 3, people wanted more ways of getting recon helmet and Bungie gave them that. Destiny- people said that the cryptarch was crap and they fixed that. So Bungie does care.
This weeks post enraged most of us.
What were the actual figures?

1 ReplyThey will loose less than that if you consider playstation has about 1/2 the total players and 360 has over 1/4.
-
Short answer to the title is no. We all wish they'd actually take a minute to listen instead of blowing smoke.
-
Oh they care. They don't respond to all the criticism out there. They certainly wouldn't bother responding to something like this.
-
3 RepliesI actually glad to be this so called casual player, laughs at all buthurt coming from self procaimed elitist butt-monkeys.

1 ReplyLet's face it, your mother hates you.

Nope... because their 2 year marketing hype got a hell of a lot of pre-sales, which included the DLC. So, they have our money, and the places we got the game from aren't going to give us money back on open software... therefore... they conned us out of our money. Yes, we play still, some, and yes, we've played a lot in the past month, because we've expected Bungie to come through and give us some quality updates to make the game more palatable, closer in relation to what was described in the Bungie propaganda... and so we hoped and played (ba-bum-bum). But, as the weeks dragged on... Bungie laughed while counting our money, sending DeeJ into our midst to try to appease us, and put a shiny face on this rusted piece of goushi. http://venturebeat.com/2014/09/08/bungie-warns-about-day-one-destiny-reviews/ There's a nice little article that shows that they knew they were handing us a piece of goushi prior to release. So, the answer is, yes and no. Yes, they want to keep the reviews good, at least until the holidays... which at this point is pretty useless given the exodus to other games by a significant number of players (3.2 mil over 4 consoles, given Bungie's own numbers is pathetic, seeing as only 1 significant title, Shadows of Mordor, has come out and Halo 3 was pumping out equivalent numbers months after release on just 1 console). And no, because they already have our money, and at this point have all the money they're going to get, so they're not too terribly concerned about player criticism. It's pretty apparent actually, given that they continue to screw up everything they say they're fixing.

2 RepliesThis is typical non-sense i see on every game forum. The thing with: *insert company here* doesent care about fanbase, players, game etc. You must be idiotic if you think they dont care..when they are about to release expansions and need to draw people into buying. They must care, otherwise they will have low sales and stuff....also people need to understand that changes of the game dont come on demand, not when you want. Dont expect to say " this exotic is op" and the next day they nerf it. Doesent work that way.
