Vanguard(And Crucible?) Points Cap
I was just wondering if anyone else has come across this and if anyone else has posted this to have it addressed?
I recently hit the 200 maximum vanguard marks on my Hunter, unfortunately, I was using Dead Orbit so I'm only Vanguard Rank 1 and can't yet use any of these marks. Naturally, I need Van-Reputation, so I do as many bounties as possible but these can be a grinding bore on your own. (Run errands on Patrol, complete Moon missions etc) Anyways! I thought I'd do some strikes with friends to get the +25 rep, just pass some time and enjoy it.
I noticed this morning my Vanguard points on the "Set Destination" screen are "34" and the circle is almost half full. None of these points exsist, as I am still at the 200 points cap. Does this mean, even if I hit Van Rank 2, I'll end up unable to benefit from Vanguard points if I've already hit the Weekly Limit of 100?
More curious than anything, as many things for Van Rep give Van points, so it's counter intuitive!

5 RepliesEdited by b3n: 10/9/2014 10:54:00 AMThere's a weekly cap of 100 marks for vanguard crucible. There is also a cap of 200 marks [b]total[/b] for each vanguard/crucible. You can continue gaining all the rep you want to, [i]but[/i] you won't gain any marks until you spend some to get below the 200 mark limit.
