Why arent exotic guns powerful
so i was using an exotic gun then switched to a RARE gun and it did more damage

Not all are terrible, just a few. Don't generalize too much

Basing whats good and whats bad on the Damage stat alone is by far the stupidest thing to do. The upgrades make a gun. [spoiler]Also impossible for a Rare to do more damage then an Exotic. Nice try. [/spoiler]

What exotics were you supposedly using? Something not upgraded at all?

My icebreaker regens ammo hits ads for 4k damage so I think it works pretty well
