How was your first night in the Iron Banner?
Seeking constructive feedback.
Tell me about your experience. Please stay on topic.
Were you detecting an advantage attributed to your more powerful gear and weapons? Did the experience feel different than standard Crucible combat?

UPDATE: I know people quit games when they know they won't win. I'm more curious about your perceptions for how the power-level advantages work. Help me help you. Stay on target!

Won't do it again unless drop rates improve. I got to rank 5 an didn't get 1 drop had to buy everything. Very disappointed

Positives- I felt that there were more competitive matches that went the distance I noticed the light level advantage for my weapons especially after playing regular crucible with the same load out. I noticed that some of the loot drops were higher light than the ones for sale by lord Saladin(295 was the highest I saw). I liked that there were higher reputation bounties that rewarded skill instead of pure grinding. Negatives- I would've liked to have seen drops that varied from the ones that Lord Saladin was offering. I felt that the light level on the drops could've been more in line with the light level used during the match. If you're rocking a 305 load out I feel that a 300 or higher drop would be more fitting considering the low drop rate. I enjoyed the banner quite a bit and brought all 3 of my characters to level 5 despite the feeling that Lord Saladins offerings were lackluster and not worthy of the time and effort.

I never felt as though 300+ had a huge advantage, but still advantages like barely surviving a grenade and killing me. I expect stuff like that in the Iron Banner. I would also suggest an automatic IB weapon/gear drop at lvl 3 and 5. I got 1 for the entire time.

As a 305 the only time it was noticeable was against someone 280-290. And even then it didn't give me a huge advantage. It came down to better weapons than better light level 90% of the time.

Stay on target![/quote] It kinda sucked altogther...the gear & weapons are supposed to be earned,which we DO,yet we are still charged glimmer & legendary marks.I'm not sure about any one else but a weeks lengendary marks across all activity's won't cover the cost of the so called rewards without having to break down quite a few of your stored legendarys...which you have probably been saving for infusion or the gunsmith breakdown quests.this is across three characters mind you.oh and power advantage levels seem ok I'm currently at about 294 light with my main fella.going against a 310 you can be one shot killed by the best range shotgun at 6 feet, and a 310 hawk moon can empty your brain pan from around the same range 1 shot.

Tbh I have not played IB this time round, I gave up in total disappointment during the last IB because of the cheating and I dont want to go back to that element of your game..

Ranking up is the same so that's good. Do not understand in the case of iron banner why older armor can't come along, secondly 280 light gear is sort of silly when light level is supposed to matter and you are possibly going up against 300's or better, higher light ib gear would help close the gap. Disappointed in the drops and loot available. But I understand why you are doing it. Not enough gear to spread around. All in all I'd say it was good, but not the best ib experience I have ever had in the game.

The power level in IB - do u have attack & defense cap for that? My personal experience, I went in weak (289) & strong (300+) and barely noticed big difference

There is no power advantage...only who the shitty peer to peer networking will chose to be unstoppable

most of the time i feel weaker and tested. my light lvl ist about 295, lost more of 1 v 1 engagements aganist about 305 opponents than in regular crucible. the great opponent: mr. lag, doesnt appear so often, thanks for working on that. mr. matchmaker has no mercy with solo players. my win rate goes under 50% when i play alone. its ok, its a game, ib is a tournment, i expect no mercy.

The IB is a mess. The amount of cheating is horrendous. People constantly abusing the Shadow Shot cheat. Are you going to extend IB due to all the people not being able to enjoy IB? A temp ban should be brought apon the cheaters. Set an example.

Pulse rifles are way op and need a damage reduction like autos or remove auto range drop off damage.

Every since trials was introduced, it seems it really elevated people looking for ways to cheat to achieve 9-0. Used to really enjoy IB, not real big on much of the other crucible play styles. But that cheating bled over to IB -I'm more of a PVE player. But for feedback. -Guns in IB levels didn't really seem to be detectable, high light versus lower light levels hit power and kill power felt like crucible. -too many individuals using glitch, I finally stopped playing this week. Will wait for a fix. -really would like to see dedicated servers to eliminate most red bar issues, which would also really show lag switchers for what they are. -I think it was an over correction to NERF so many weapons, and getting rid of so many unique guns from year 1, replacement year two hasn't offered the variety. -not a fan of the new drop system or using legendary marks. At least with glimmer I would feel motivated to hit level 5 and glimmer farm on all three characters to buy what was available as a reward.

I had to go to the doctor for blood pressure medication, anxiety medication had to replace two controllers which i will be sending bungie the bill for! Reached rank 5 on all three characters and what? oh my gosh i got 1 drop yay to the sidearm woohoo i feel like i have accomplished something 1 drop between all three characters i have to be the luckiest person on here, don't hate! But wait something has begun to bring back memories of the year 1 iron banner drops wait yea now i remember i got a bunch of drops from those 3 ships numerous guns! Hmmmm i might not be so lucky then with this iron banner. :(

I'll start with the fact that this ib feels better than the other ones. That said the bad timing with the hunter arrow glitch and people still using their slow internet connections it's become inconsistent. One match everyone's on a green bar and no odd behavior. The next match there's 2 people on red bars who sponge damage. I recorded all clips and make a compilation of it probably. Also lagg switchers are a real thing.

With each change you make rendering my time invested in your game pointless, the less I play. It has been a week and I have not played your game nor have I had any desire.

It's always awful and thats why i didn't play it. You guys dont field test anything and the people you have in that little bunker you call balancing out the pvp mechanics somehow don't find a serious experience-breaking glitch with shadowshot. Hence the delay with ToO. I'm tired of Lord Saladin. His rewards always suck except "The Spear" in year 1. 280 light rewards for grinding out through the week for gear that is utterly useless. I mean i always here about how much everybody is looking foward to IB then everytime it gets released. Problems occur. Does that sound like good development and preparation. Loot tables in IB are horrific every since Destiny's release. And somehow yet you guys over the there find it comical to feed us this crap. How about I sit you down for 16 hours and grind away for practically cryptarch juice. Sounds fun huh. Heres an idea. How about you update the House of Wolves with new gear. Release the rest of the exotics from the loot tables. Let us reforge legendaries once more. Knock down the grind a tad. Add daily quests from all the factions. Rotate faction gear. Update VoG n Crota's End. Fix the Kings Fall Loot drops pertaining to Moldering Shards. And for the love of God PUT WEAPON SHADERS IN THE GAME! Idc if im off topic. Theres advice. Take the shit or leave it.

Loot loot loot! Literally the drops suck. Only gear I ever ever saw was the things lord salad bar was selling!? I mean crucible in general needs a huge make over in there drop rates.. I mean we are getting crappy 274 blues MAYBE once every other match, at least make the guarantee something at the end of a match. No way you can level up your guns, infuse them, and have any left over weapon parts for your next upgrade by doing only crucible. You're economy is seriously flawed after playing this weeks iron banner.. Just make guarantee rewards, slightly only slightly raise the drop rate on gear(maybe if we are passed 300?), and expand the loot table for iron banner that actually rewards iron banner gear instead of legendary engrams.. What's the point of doing ib if it's pretty much regular crucible, nothing's special to iron banner after the 12th time
