Dear Bungie my son has to get his leg extracted next weak is there any thing you can do for him?

Like the bounty tweeks. Auto rifles need work, Vex miss fires now since the last patch. Which comes and goes during the match. When can we get that Iron Banner pulse rifle? It's the only weapon I am missing.

I know I've been taking less damage, as a 34. Still takes 1 headshot and 2 body shots for a Thorn to kill me. Started using the Thorn myself and starting to agree that it's OP... Getting 36 kills must p!ss the other team off. Other than that, it's a good Iron Banner. Only want the Etheric though. Not really a PvPer

Feels good overall. Need bigger penalties for quitters, like a 10 minute timeout. Have a message that says, "sit in the corner with your head down for 10 minutes". Losing is part of life, learn it and accept it.

Unbalanced weapon fest. Somehow even with the level advantages on at level 34 i die faster than normal crucible? And the connection is even more crap that regular crucible. Same goes for ToO
-
Level advantages should be more noticable

HOW ABOUT YOU STAY ON TARGET? Hmm

Levels work as they should. Please pass on that the net code needs work

2 RepliesI initially didn't go into Iron Banner, but once my normal bounties were done I jumped right in on my Titan at 33 1/2. There was very little to no difference in the way my first three matches went. I found myself with teams of people and won all three matches. The damage ratio's were well placed all around and I didn't really have an issue killing anyone at 34 or 32 due to team shooting. Later on, I started to lose a few matches and quit out of others when I realized my teammates were making errors I knew to avoid indefinitely. The power differences were as expected. 34's who consistently hit me killed me unless I had a range advantage. Mida-Multi Tool was my primary for most of the day 1 Ion Banner. I got all the IB bounties done and called it quits... I think around 10 matches and netted the rank 2 I aimed for. The only real differences I see is the way players were going about IB. For one, they really stay to significantly high portions of the map with hand cannons and others with scout rifles like myself stick back and kill anyone brave enough to turn the corner. Team shooting from anyone almost guaranteed death + assist which accumulates quickly. Damage falloffs were an expected 11%, but that doesn't mean anything to me when my target can't hit from distance. I feel that was appropriate considering the encounters I barely walked away from. From my 33 status, I found killing 32's was far too easy. Even with Mida headshots, only 4sk? I get that it needs to be powerful at 365 to kill something, but the damage falloff guarantee's someone's death if they come around an expected corner. I'd say give them a little more boost. Make it so they are dead after 6-8 body shots is what I think should be done. Mida fires on a hair pin trigger. It doesn't need to necessarily kill that fast when it already has a speed boost and players who use it are smarter with their map movements... After doing lvl 34 PoE, I finally became my 34. This is mostly day 2, but as a 34? It is scary how fast 32's fall. The damage ratios are definitely high. I almost felt like a knight major in CE facing a lvl 31 in terms of damage. It takes 2 more headshots I think? Yeah, once I picked up Thorn and went in? You can't kill someone fast enough who is self aware of the map surroundings. Facing 33's? A well met challenge. Damage ratios are solid across the board. I even found myself going back to mida until I saw another thorn user killing me. Then I switched to thorn and went to town. So yeah. I like the settings presently. I just think 32's could do with a little more resistance to damage from 33's. 34's are set in stone good if they know to watch their radars. Besides that? 34's are dying, which is good, and are not completely powerful to kill an entire team, but can kill two 32's relatively easily.

Make your competitive game modes actually competitive. This means either balancing the exotic hand canons or just ban them from iron banner and trials of Osiris.

Lv32 and 33 players seem to wreck 34 players, what's the go the lv advantages seem to be broken. I'm still wrecking pretty much everyone but sometimes my weapons do little effect to these two lv's. Strange.

5 RepliesHello Deej, I have a complaint regarding the Bounty where you have to get 10 kills without dying during the Iron Banner. It is too difficult especially when Thorn users are running all over the place. Example: Just as as I need at least 2 more kills to complete it, a Thorn user comes by and immediately starts firing at me. After killing and surviving from him, the Thorn's poison kills me and I have to restart the bounty over and over again. I have no real problem with other guns, but it is the Thorn that bothers me the most, especially the poison effect it deals on players. Please do something about it. Thank You!

1 ReplyIron banner in three words. LAG and THORNS. If destiny is going to rely on peer to peer connections for 10 years, you guys should just give up now.

I have tried both weekends and my experience is as follows. 1) I felt as though I wasn't hitting 32/33s as hard as 34 should. My personal opinion others may disagree. 2) like most crucible games trials is played with a very select few guns (thorn, TLW, red death, VM). In becoming "legend" apparently we do away with being unique if we want to win 3) lag was horrible, can't say that enough. 4) cannot for the life of me understand why the best weapons are won via pvp with no PVE equivalent. The best players making trips to the lighthouse get stronger while The not so talented players have to fight the now more powerful elite players who have better gear. That is my overall experience and thoughts. Thank you
