I liked it. Not quite as much as the others. I feel you last two were excellent for their development of characters we all knew. They easily exist within the story as we know it. This one is creating its own story on top of what we already have. This is MUCH bigger. I hope to learn more about your character as the story progresses. I liked the time in the jump forward. Was its exactness due to the main character being an exo? I am interested to see your interpretation of a warlock using their abilities. Keep up the great work.

The exactness is due to the Exo/Warlock combination. Not really sure why I thought it would be a good touch, but glad that it came off that way. In terms of bigness and other characters, you're absolutely right. Aegis certainly is my own creation, but thankfully the next part will start focusing on one of the known characters; though, I have a feeling this whole piece is going to be more geared towards grimoire readers rather than the broad base of the other two. I might be kneecapping myself there actually.
