Many of us have read that this is not the game that Bungie had originally intended to make. According to rumors there was some division at the company that caused much of the initial content to be gutted and reworked to buy the company time to do better with the DLC. Despite the problems it has with repetitive missions and a poor short story, Destiny is still incredibly fun and I still have hope that Bungie will put forth the almighty effort and strike down the naysayers with an awe-striking DLC that will rock the gaming world. That doesn't change the fact that this game is in the ICU and its survival is not certain. The review I posted shows what Destiny needs to do, but if sales bottom out the company will probably cut their loses and move on to other things. If we want to see Destiny make it then we have to place a bet. I'm talking about DLC. I know that many of you will tear my flesh and crucify me for saying this, but if we want Destiny to reach its full potential and to really exceed our expectation, then we have to do something. I know that many of you will argue and say that Bungie made enough money on the release of Destiny, but don't forget that that number is often inflated and that Activision will be taking their share as well. Making this game reach its true potential will change the gaming industry forever. it would prove that massive titles like Destiny can make it, if the company can do a good job. Things have really gotten down to the wire though and I don't think sitting back and hoping for the best will be enough. To ensure that we are able to enjoy Destiny at its very best level we have to take a chance. Make a bet with me. Let's gamble...

  • I personally think this game is too gutted to be truly ever considered Bungie. Activision essentially Forced the creative core of Bungie out and used what was left behind to make what they thought would sell. And the only reason it did is because we saw Bungies name on it. Had we all known the truth sooner before release, I believe many of us here would not have purchased a game. I wanted a post-halo Bungie game. I got an Activision game wearing Bungies skin like a mask. Do not support this fools. Any support would go to Activision as well and as has been stated we need to show support. To Bungie: I've left a few other comments scattered through the forums already, here I'll re iterate that I am not investing any further money in Destiny that I already have, but again if you can do the impossible and get Joe and Marty to come back and make your OWN GAME, I will support you and many of your fanbase that have fled this fail will return if you make your stand for world domination. Hell, next game you do, kick start it. Not even BS-ing here. Kick start it to get the funds from us and give us an awesome bonus if it goes through, then shove the completed game, money and Kick start results in a production company's face and say, " our fans have spoken, produce this game." I want to believe in Bungie again, don't let a big name like Activision tear you guys apart.
